“Nice waterfront restaurant with decent food Our favourite dish was the seafood linguine - the pasta had a nice texture, the sauce was savoury and seafoody and the lobster in it was very nice! The barramundi was nice with a very tasty sauce, but the overall dish was underwhelming for the price. The shoestring fries were good but $14 is quite expensive for it. The duck liver & plum pate was a very nice starter but, similarly, quite expensive for what we get. Overall, the food wasn’t out of this world; so it didn’t really justify their price point. But the restaurant being waterfront does give a really nice atmosphere and the service was pretty good. Also, if you stay at the Sheraton, it’s only a couple minutes walk from there!”

“It was a last minute decision to go out and grab dinner. There was a storm and with camping we didn't want to head out in the bad weather. When we arrived here, it was right on closing of the brasserie. They still let us through and we had a wonderful meal leaving with full bellies and a smile. We ordered Leek & Potato Soup, Kids Fish & Chips, Chicken Schnitty, and Salt Pepper Calamari. Food came out within 10 of when we ordered. We left 30min after we arrived. Quick and efficient which is perfect when you have two tired kids in tow.”

The lunch menu was $20 for all dishes. I had a rump steak and salad it was cooked to perfection rare to medium, the other parties had beer battered fish chips and salad. Would recommend to everyone to go and have lunch. We will certainly go back next time we are back in town.”

A half kilo of prawns, while slightly sweet prawns, would benefit from a crusty bread roll, and a small water to wash fingers after peeling the prawns. The small salad with the curry was without dressing, so really just lettuce, tomatoes, red capsicum and slices of red onions. The hotel is old school with a delightful front bar, and a memorial to Johnny Warren, a football legend. The hotel is worth a visit, but the restaurants lets it down.”

Went to th3 counter to find out how much longer, was told 2 minutes which it was. However, my simple hamburger bun was so hard, I could not even get my mouth around it! Was hard as a rock. Chips were burnt and disgusting. My husbands chicken was okay but chips inedible. Got my money back and the lady did offer a new meal but didn't have time to sit around and waste more time as the wait was ridiculous already. So disappointed 😞”

“Came here after lunch! We have been to many different breweries in the area and decided to check out this place. Lovely big outdoor area and they also serve food! Great place to grab lunch while enjoying their beers. Only downside about this brewery is parking! It does get abit hard to find parking over the weekend during peak hour. So recommend to come early before lunch time or abit later in the noon to enjoy a nice cold glass of beer! Friendly and helpful staff! Highly recommend!”
