“We wanted to go on their beer factory tour unfortunately it wasn't available during the week of our visit. It also happen to be the International Beer Day! Place has one of its kind character and very laid back with nice indie music being played; has both indoor and outdoor seatings. Tapioca chips seemed simple but tastes amazing with the avocado, croquettas were delicious but bocadillas were mediocre. We tried a total of 4 different types of beer each and wished we had room in tummy for more!”

It has a large selection of styles, and perhaps most are local or Spanish beers. The owner knows his stuff, is helpful and answer our questions regarding the local brewery scene in Galicia. We also had a sausague sandwich.. I know we don't come to Galicia to eat that, but it was def worthy it, filling and great combo with all we drank. My family has a bias for stouts and porters..so the winner was Black Inverno (imperial cocoa smoked rye stout) from Ourense, but I did get a Zymeland to have some variety, mom's comment: "like a cocktail beer great for a hot day! Lets take one home" Aside of Black Inverno we had: Mortal combat (imperial rye stout ahumado. From Ourense?) Cacao wiyard (stout with cacao from Lugo) Mamba negra (Russian imperial stout from Lugo) Zymelan? (Gose with guava, mango, mandarin from Ourense)”

“We arrived at 13:30 to this tiny 400 square foot tapas bar. There are three tables inside and about 10 bar stools but most folks are just whipping in and having a beer. My partner was not in the mood to deal with ordering so I bellied up to the bar. Our total order cost 33.8€ and included 4 glasses of house red wine. What a screaming deal! We had a scallop and prawn brochette, the brick of bacalao, prawn & langostino fritters, meatballs with potatoes, a bit of duck loin served on a garlic toast, and scallops gratin. It was all a taste sensation! The brochette had two prawns encircling a scallop and put on a grill. The simplicity was perfection! My partner wanted to order two bricks of bacalao but I said no. I was wrong! This was a bit of salted cod wrapped like a present in phyllo type dough. The ribbon was green onions. It was baked and came out crispy but so creamy. The fritters, called buñuelos, were very eggy, light and full of shrimp flavor with a crisp crust. The albondigas were my least favorite but they were delicious, tender, and swimming in a delicious mild brown sauce. They were accentuated by small slices of fried potatoes that were sprinkled with salt. The sirloin of duck was a tiny piece of grilled duck served on a delicious garlic toast surrounded by deep fried potato chips and drizzled with a blackberry sauce. Oh, my little pony! So good! Finally, one of the daily specials was a scallop gratinee. Two shells arrived with a small scallop on each covered in a cheddar cheese sauce. It wasn’t my favorite as I’m not a fan of cheese sauce but it was still beautiful and tasty. During our almost two hours of eating, I knocked over two chairs and my partner knocked over his wine glass onto the marble table. Although we tried to wreck the place (not really!) people were still so nice to us. It should be noted that in this city, people don’t speak Spanish. They speak to you in Basque and I reply in Spanish. Again, folks are so accommodating to us. Love this place!”

“Went there in the morning and the young man was super attentive and couldn't be more helpful because of this we went back in the evening! Totally different experience..waitress wasn't happy super slow she said she would come for our order many time and when she finally came said the sin gluten beer wasn't cold like it was our problem. Paid and left. What a shame as the free tapa with the drinks is very nice and a lovely place to sit and watch the world go by”

“Came for a concert. I was a bit hesitant given the mixed reviews but it was 100% worth it. None of us had anything to drink so I can’t comment on pricing and we kept our coats given the bad experience of other reviewers. Regarding the sound, the sound was terrible for the opening act, and I feared it was a problem of the venue, however, the main artists had different equipment and the sound was absolutely flawless. The space is relatively small, so you are as close to the artists as it can be, the caustics are amazing and the energy is through the roof. As a concert venue I recommend it. Only drawback is that it was impossible to contact the venue prior to the concert. The never pick up the phone.”
