“The atmosphere and vibe was great the night we went. The food was delicious. We actually ordered a second round of the zucchini chips and the mussels in Marinara with the bread. Although everything tasted great. We mostly opted to have appetizers and sharables with a few entrees but it was overall great! Our waitress was patient and great with our group. Especially with the pandemic causing some adjustments in the restaurant industry she was great. I'm sorry I don't remember her name!”

“Great little pub with top quality wings and beers. I’ve been going here over 20 years. This was one of the first great beer bars in the late 90’s when craft beer just started taking off. The staff is great, and the wings, burgers and other food is too notch. Only complaints are it’s tight inside and the parking lot can be very small/crowded. Consider finding street parking.”

And another patron Kevin chatted with us and schooled us about all things lacrosse. The food was amazing...... although I had to send my sandwich back because it was just too salty. So I got a burger. And the caesar salad was amazing!!! I've never had it with capers before and it didn't make it overly salty. Nice vibe would be an understatement Update 8/13/2023: Still 5 stars. Wanted to add the Beef Bourgeoning Gnocchi. OMG DELICIOUS!!!!!”

“Was very happy to find a place that we could actually sit down and eat on a Saturday night with no reservation and the food ended up being wonderful. I highly recommend the jerk chicken tacos. They were so good that we just had them delivered to the hotel the next day. It was very loud and went in there, but that was mainly contributed by a group of three or four very loud girls sitting at one table.”

Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful...the dining room had a cozy inviting fire going... and the food was BONKERS! The loaded fries will have you wonder how you lived your life before now! Bacon egg and cheese with a side of great fries was just what I needed. Glad we got off the BSL and took a walk over to this gem of a tavern. Will definitely visit again as well as recommend 100%!”

For food we had the crab and artichoke dip, arancini, and buffalo wings. Both the dip and arancini were fantastic (highly recommend). For the wings: Cook - I believe the wings were baked (which explains some other reviews). Because of the bake, the sauce was stuck into the wings which gave great flavor. The drawback is they could have been crispier, so if you like crispy wings they may not be for you. Sauce- The classic buffalo was just that. Great flavor, and it really gets baked into the wings. Note, it was not a runny sauce and because it bakes in there was not a lot of excess in the tray.”
