“We went to the pub after our London bridge experience happened, as it is right there when you finish it. The place is very cosy and definitely has its own atmosphere. Beers are 1 litre each 🤩 what I didnt particularly like was that along with our tickets to the Experience we were offered hot dogs that we barely touched and it was such a pity to see this food waste. Maybe the place can think of including a voucher of a certain value so people can take whatever they really like. However, the food we ordered additionally was good.”

“Good atmosphere, I was surprised at how big this place was and how many different activities they have. I was here for axe throwing and shuffle board. The axe throwing was a bit more challenging than I thought it would be (recommend handed throwing). There are different games to play that help to keep things interesting. There were only two of us playing, which felt about right for a half-hour session, I think with a bigger group, you might need a bit longer. Shuffle Board was also very enjoyable. It wasn't too busy when I was there, so I was able to go a little bit over time to finish a game, I understand that this might not be possible a peek times. Didn't try the food, but the buffalo wings smelt great. Good selection of beers at the bar. Definitely want to go back and try the agmented reality darts. It looked so much fun.”

“🚇Covent Garden 🍺 £5.80 Amstel ❤️ A welcoming family run Freehouse. . The Coach & Horses is located opposite the Royal Opera House in a quiet side street on the edge of Covent Garden. The nearest Tube is Covent Garden which is a four minute walk away. . The pub dates back to the 1730’s, the current building was built in the early 19th century. This pub has been run by the same Irish family for the last forty years. . This is a cosy one bar boozer that feels welcoming and homely. The servery is situated on the left hand side and has a sturdy solid dark wood counter. The bar area seating is all stools and poser tables which works well in this busy little pub. The pale green walls are adorned with photos of pub celebrations, claims to fame and black and white scenes of times gone by. This pub boasts a red carpet, the cornerstone of any top London boozer. . The beer selection was good and included lots of familiar favourites, two cask ales and of course Guinness. The Guinness here is well celebrated, so much so that The Irish Post once voted the Guinness here as the best in Britain. If you are partial to a short, there are over 70 Irish whiskeys and gins plus Scottish whiskies too. I was on the lager all day so I decided on an Amstel, my pint was excellent, well kept and price point was average. The food is basically sandwiches – but what excellent sandwiches they are. Hot sausages, salt beef, roast beef and baked ham are all served on your choice of bread with gherkins and crisps on the side. . We arrived just after 4pm on a Saturday afternoon and the place was absolutely heaving. The atmosphere here was superb, the vibe was upbeat and buzzy. The crowd was a mix from all walks of life, the pub was as busy outside as in. The service was efficient, the team here were very much on the ball. . The Coach & Horses is one of the most hospitable pubs you’ll find anywhere around Central London, this is a must visit London pub. . ℹ️ Info correct on visiting 29.04.23”

“This is such an underrated pub. It's in a nice part of London and has a fantastic atmosphere with a mix of old regulars, students and tourists. “I don’t drink that much and am not keen on “pub vibes”.. but personally I felt comfortable while being here. Staffs were attentive and helpful, and even offered us a free pint of Kronenburg for the delayed pizza. I had read several reviews saying that the pizzas are good before visiting. They’re not lying and I won’t lie either. It was undoubtedly one of the best pizzas in my whole life. It was more than worth the wait. Simple but top notch flavour with good ingredients.”

Plenty of different cocktails for people with a sweet tooth and caters to all different chocolate fans! Does also do a little sweet treat menu. The atmosphere was amazing as everyone in awe of all the cocktails and as soon as you walked in, you were hit with this delicious smell of chocolate. Also dog friendly with space between tables for them to lay down. The staff are super attentive and quick with taking orders. We didn't eat as it was social drinks with friends but the menu looks great. There are plenty of choices on tap to suit most tastes”

The Doodle Bar

“Covered, indoor, multiple seats. Toilets, free access, good range of drinks. Negatives - It's a brewery. How a wine and beer is £15 seems excessive considering its not a pub. Realistically it should be closer to £12 a round. That said, loads of waiting staff who were fast friendly and efficient”

“Really fancied a beef wellington yesterday and stubled across The Hemingway. Food overall was pretty good. Beef Wellington was cut into 2 big chunks rather than sliced up for presentation. Beef was of good quality and pastry was nice. Sides that come with it are enough, especially if you have starters like we did. Didn't need the mac and cheese but always a nice addition. Good pub lunch.”
