The place is a super late Victorian pub but with the most fantastic Art Deco windows, simply amazing. The ceiling is also stunning. A great privilege to be able to have a beer with these people.”

“Been to Sunday lunch today at The KINGS ARMS today ... Was told the rooftop terrace was nice ... Its a ski theme on the terrace so old wooden cable spools for tables and smaller one for chairs ,... Had a lovely starter of fresh cooked spicy wings made in the pub there were stunning and a chorizo prawn toast in creamy sauce which was stunning and tasty... I had a couple of standbys and the mixed meat Sunday roast that was very good ... I admit I did indulge in the afters which was a .ixed very crumble and ice cream for the big eaters out there.. that was a 10 out of 10 for me I'm a sweet toothed guy.. 💯👍 ... our waitress Sarah was very attentive and proffesional alot of young people seem not so enthusiastic about there jobs not so for sarah smiling proffesional and couteous. Well done sarah because of you and the good food we will be back. Couple of pictures for the foodies a very nice old pub..”

If they are trying to differentiate themselves by describing themselves as a "dog-free zone" they are going the wrong way about it given around a 1/3 of households in the uk own a dog...”

“We went in for a brunch this Sunday and got completely disappointed by service and food. We had to wait approx 1 hour to get the order while another couple next to us arrived later and was served before. We got a ridiculously sized slice of bread (burned) with little avocado and feta on top for £8.50. Salmon and mushrooms requested as extra were also tiny in quantity. Avoid.”

“Pains me quite a lot to update my review having been local to the pub for the last 10 years. There's been a lot of change over the last few years but at the moment there's definitely improvements needed. It's by no means all negative, I do love the atmosphere and they have a great drink selection. What's really letting it down at the moment are a few things...the bar is severely understaffed. On a quiet period it's completely fine but on weekends, quiz night etc having 2 people run food as well as serve at the bar is disastrous. On a full night every time I wanted to order a drink I was waiting 10-15mins. The staff are struggling! Not rude, but run off their feet and are visibly stressed to the point where no apologies for late food, slow service etc, they're just trying to keep up! Food arrived cold, no apologies or engagement, and then 30mins later told kitchen can't accept any more orders as they're busy. Also prices are now very very high. I don't believe inflation and taxes are a valid excuse as you can genuinely get a cheaper drink in central London from a non chain pub. As I say, there's been a lot of change over the last few years so I hope I can update my review in the near future”

No roast potatoes, no pigs in blankets, no stuffing, and just minuscule portions of everything else that was supposed to be included. No explanation nor apology given. I left still hungry.”

“Popped in for a couple on the way to John Parris cues . This pub is right outside the train station, you can't miss it. Great selection of beers and I had the Christmas Burger which was lovely... Very nice burger. Staff are great and price point isn't bad. Highly recommend popping in. There's a lot of TV's all with something different on so it's not just showing football which was a relief. The pub itself is quite long.. it's got loads of space and a nice little digital screen with train times on so you can time a quick half nicely before your train home 😀”

“Nice local pub. We went in for a real ale, however there was nothing on offer! How did Guinness, which was great! The pomade was lovely 🙂 and although I don't normally watch football, it was quite nice to see the Arsenal and Fulham game, as it was not to intrusive. I will definitely come back, as the pub is very friendly, the clientele welcoming and the interior appealing.”
