“Beautiful beach with some rocks and some sand. Not accessible by road. You can hike here or take a boat. The atmosphere is very peaceful and serene. There are some shops with basic foodstuffs and drinks. Some camping spaces are also available. Absolutely must visit if you are in the area. Hope this helps 🙏”

“Wonderful Experience...Good adventure and trekking experience for family and kids ..Better plan on weekdays...land there by 10a.m....Park your car at ttdc parking and finalize one good coracle rider person who approaches you... select fish in the market nearby and order them to cook for u and then go down the steps for coracle ride.....govt charges are 750.00 for four persons...Going down the hillock for a ride is extra and you negotiate with the coracle holder.....enjoy till lunch time and come back to have lunch which you ordered.Then take some rest and go for bathing... WONDERFUL DAY SPENT.....ALL THE BEST”

“Berthed there as part of our Indian cruise. The port is not really geared for cruise ships. Although it is on the cruise itinerary. It is a working port for coal and steel and containers so as such possibly not top of the list for a cruise ship. Very dirty and noisy. Took the shuttle bus into town which was the same as any town in any country in the world. The difference being the culture and people. It was interesting to see what is everyday life of the people in New Mangalore, as opposed to the tourist places you usually visit. In this respect it was worth going. Other than that I could have been in a number of towns in any industrial country...”
