Gundaru Dam
4.5
( 16 reviews )

Tamil Nadu 627802

“A pleasant place which makes us feel close to nature, Many Private falls are available nearby the Dam itself. The Dam is just Damnnnn. To reach the Private falls many jeeps are available, The prices are kind of in the higher side but still it's worth the experience, You can have fun for some multiple hours in a private falls with just a limited number of people. If you don't want to spend money, then you can walk up to the nearest private falls which is not actually private but definitely have some higher privacy level than the main falls. Boating is available in this dam which is also the range of a higher price point. The boating is a really good experience But I would say that it's not worth the price.”

Kanjia Singhpur Bhauria, Uttar Pradesh, India

“Aahhhaaaa....my first stay in a tree house. Thrilling and tiring experience (stair climbing). At present only tree house is available for booking. Rest of the rooms are under renovation. I have uploaded the pics of the rooms still under renovation. Following are the pros and cons of the tree house stay. Pros - Newly renovated. Mobile Network coverage avlb for airtel, jio and idea (declaring the ones that I have tested). The package includes breakfast for two and two bottles of water. Good homely food (non spicy veg food). AC and geyser available. Bamboo furnishing Mr Dharampal looks after the rooms. He is polite, courteous and helpful. Cons- The room and washroom is toooooo small. The stairs are steep and spacing between the steps is more so its very difficult for elderly ppl and kids to climb. Water drips down the stairs and it's a risk for ppl to fall down. Many rats are there in the tree house, they have cut our bag also. The bedsheets and towels were washed but with stains they need to be replaced. Too many cane chairs make the room non movable. Electricity is avlb thru generator after sunset till 2200h during winters. Only packaged water is avlb at the canteen. Any additional eateries needs to be prebooked even milk for kids. Room cleaning is limited due to many stairs.”

“This park is well-kept and quite peaceful and calm. You have to pay for each activity. My kids had a great time on the zipline. There is clean water, a smaller crowd, and plenty of parking available outside of the park. When compared to Pookode Lake, here for boating there is less crowding, and I would also recommend you plan here instead of wasting time there in long queues.”
