Foxlake Adventures Cic
4.8
( 16 reviews )

Dunbar EH42 1XF, United Kingdom

“We tried Foxfall, Ringo & Wakeboarding over two days (and the sauna). The staff are really friendly & helpful, clearly invested in creating great experiences, and brilliant instructors. My boys wanted to try wakeboarding but had to abandon plans after only a short time in the water due to the temps being too cold - however they were more than happy for us to use the rest of our allotted time on the ringo instead which cheered up two very cold and slightly disappointed kids. Had a great time, and really appreciated the effort and attitudes of the staff. Oh and the coffee is spot on too!”

Revolution Bike Park

( 10 reviews )

Llangynog, Oswestry SY10 0EP, United Kingdom

“It's pretty much perfect. Kind staff, medically trained, lots of parking. Owner/Manager was decent to let me stay as I had an accident where I couldn't drive. Didn't stay in the end, but was a kind offer.”

“Stunning tranquil place to visit. Well worth the drive through windy roads. Woodland walks and lake side drives and walks.”

Catbells
4.9
( 8 reviews )

Keswick CA12 5TU, United Kingdom

“Amazing view! Definitely recommend. It’s about a 25-35 min hike up to the first viewpoint and it’s amazing. It’s quite steep so wear proper shoes as not to fall or slip, especially on the way down. The view from the top is really breathtaking.”

Dundas Aqueduct
4.7
( 16 reviews )

Brassknocker Basin, Monkton Combe BA2 7JD, United Kingdom

“Very worthy to visit Dundas Aqueduct which is just 15-minute drive from Bath city centre. So much fun to walk along the aqueduct and walking along the riverside even on a cold foggy winter morning :)”

Budleigh Salterton Beach
4.6
( 8 reviews )

Lime Kiln Car Park, Granary Ln, Budleigh Salterton EX9 6JD, United Kingdom

“Had a very pleasant walk on this long and pebbly beach. It shelves quite steeply down to the water's edge. It's backed by red sandstone cliffs and is part of the Jurassic Coast. I found the pebbles fascinating because of their varied sizes and colours but also not very easy to walk on. Was glad of my sturdy shoes! Both the beach and sea looked very clean. There are cabins, a beach café where you can get light snacks, and free toilets close by.”

Ramsgate Main Sands
4.5
( 10 reviews )

Ramsgate CT11 8LP, United Kingdom

“Lovely Sandy beach which can get very busy on the right side. A bit too much seaweed and stones on the left side and parking is ok”

Kinnego Marina
4.5
( 8 reviews )

Kinnego Marina, 27 Annaloiste Rd, Lurgan, Craigavon BT66 6NJ, United Kingdom

“Fair place, needed a £20 deposit for the key. Hate to drive in is but in a rather bad place and is hard to turn into, facilities are most of the time vile (public not private) but positive is that it is a full setup pitch so you have everything and don’t have to worry about barrels. Ok place reasonably good”

Fordingbridge Recreation Ground Playpark
4.5
( 16 reviews )
Open until 07:00 PM

Fordingbridge SP6 1AN, United Kingdom

“A great family place. We enjoyed sitting next to the river watching the wildlife pass us by. Further on, children were playing on the shore splashing around having fun. There is a children's play park and also a skateboard park. A lovely cafe is on the grounds from which we enjoyed a cup of tea and cake. There are toilets on site, but due to the smell and condition I'd only use in an emergency . These really need to be cleaned regularly. So to sum this up, the place is great for the day bit on the downside the toilet facilities let it down.”

Bowleaze Cove

( 10 reviews )

Bowleaze Coveway, Weymouth DT3 6PL, United Kingdom

“Love this place, great little beach with paddleboard and kayak hire, great bar, good kids park and clean toilets”

Canoe The Wye Ltd

West, The Paddocks Hotel, Symonds Yat, Ross-on-Wye HR9 6BL, United Kingdom

“What a great experience! The trip was really well organised. We were well prepared thanks to the information that was sent out prior to our trip. Canoe the wye supplied everything else and ensured that we were well briefed. Once we set off, the scenery was beautiful. We camped at Ross rowing club which was just a short walk from the town centre with a good range of pubs and shops. We had a brilliant time and have recommended to lots of friends and family. A really friendly but professional bunch, I would highly recommend 😊”

Devil's Point
4.5
( 16 reviews )
Open until 11:59 PM

Admiralty Rd, Stonehouse, Plymouth PL1, United Kingdom

“Devils Point Park, also known as Western Kings, borders the waters of Plymouth Sound and the Tamar River which form a European Marine Site, made up of a Special Area of Conservation and a Special Protection Area. Also has a direct access from the yard, via the Stairway to Devon opened in 2013 and is part of the South West Coast Path. For centuries, families have said goodbye or welcomed loved ones on Royal Navy ships heading to and from Devonport Dockyard. Today, it is a great place to relax and watch the activity on the water, watch the boats go by or enjoy its nature and wildlife.”

Allerthorpe Lakeland Park
4.6
( 10 reviews )
Open until 04:00 PM

Melbourne Road, Pocklington, York YO42 4RL, United Kingdom

“We went at a weekend with our 3 year old son and booked for the lake side walks etc. Arrival was easy as we were greeted by a staff member who handed out wristbands and directed us to the correct parking spot. We watched some of the water activities taking place, which look great fun. Unfortunately the lakeside walk was only average and there weren't any great features. The playgrounds were of some entertainment but a little dilapidated. Main complaint was that a lot of people seemed there just to let their dogs jump in the water and run around off the lead. Not much fun dodging excited soggy doggies! One person even let there's in the paddling area against the signage. Overall, for the cost, it's only an average country park. Definitely focused on the water activities.”

How Stean Gorge
4.8
( 8 reviews )

Lofthouse, Pateley Bridge, Harrogate HG3 5SF, United Kingdom

“Great couple of days staying at the Gorge in a log cabin over New Year. Hot tub, breakfast and meals all made at the onsite cafe so no messing about around the days out walking the surrounding countryside. Local pub , The Crown in Lofthouse, providing a cracking New Year’s Eve place for celebrating and food thrown in. Staff at How Stean looked after us without fault. Thank You.”

Croft Farm Water Park

Closed until 02:00 PM

Bredon's Hardwick, Tewkesbury GL20 7EE, United Kingdom

“Beautiful park. Well laid out caravans and touring Park area. Shop should be closer to caravans. If you need anything it's way too far to walk for some. If you get in car you may aswell use the local supermarket. Which we did. Your losing revenue . Bar and restaurant nice. Food was OK. We would of liked to take a boat out or do something. But there was noone around... Very quiet. I certainly wasn't to go walking about trying to look for people to ask. I think you need more of a visual set up so people know where to go or who to ask about doing things on the lake.. It just seemed like the local regulars where the ones that could use the lake. And leave dogs barking in there cars for ages whilst the are on the lake etc... Beautiful setting and lovely pitches. Toilets could be attended to more often. But they are good and large enough. As shower blocks go they are sufficient.”

“I went to the Christmas market with my hubby in Matlock, which is our first time to visit there, and to watched a lady singing a song show and firework show that is a good experience and a wonderful night.”
