“Loved this lake and campground. Turns are a little tight around the loops but well worth it for the outdoor experience. Electric and water are available. Wild horses roam the area. High elevation so cool in the summer! Going back next year! 4 stars due to cleanliness of toilets but use our own anyway!”

“We loved the park in general. So many trails & places to explore. The bison & longhorn were amazing & watching a feeding was an experience to not be missed. Saw javelina at the wildlife viewing are-!! -1 star for the lack of sewer hookups/bathroom condition. We don’t mind not having sewer hookups if the bathrooms are nice, but the women’s room always smelled & was dirty/not in good condition. Mens wasn’t as bad, but still not great. They said they were working to improve the restrooms, so I hope they can cause this park is awesome otherwise.”

“The road leading into the park needs better maintenance as it is rough and very bumpy. The RV sites are very well maintained as well as the bathroom is clean. We woke to see lots of sandhill cranes flying in formation and making lots of noise. Amazing to see!”
