I can’t just browse here, I always have to buy something because there’s too much good stuff here to pass up. Amazing for metal & punk, but they have so much more than that too. A sprawling collection of records from a lot of niche genres outside of metal I love such as Post-Rock, Shoegaze, Dream Pop, Experimental Rock and many others. Lots of alternative albums, amazing owners who are always very friendly, welcoming and know their stuff. If I am to say it, this is the best record store in Australia!”

“One of my favourite stationary store that I really love to go. Sadly, I had a really bad experience on my last visit. Before I made a final payment, I was still looking for a book that is sold out on this store, the option was to buy the package or I can check out their other store on bourke street. So I went to their other store on bourke street to check. I leave all the books I was already selected to make purchase on the counter (the staff offered). When I came back. All the items on the counter already gone. No issue we can just get it back. In a hurry the staff who felt guilty, because she has retuaarned everything gave me back all the item. She promise to hold and then return everything to the shelf on display. All good, she said she remembered everything, and no apology for me. But she took wrong items. It is a pitty i only realise it now. It was my mistake to trust her, and not double checking. But now, I ended up paying for 50 dolars for items i dont want thanks to her. I deserve an apology. No need for me to make a trip and run if she is not going to hold the item anyway, don't offer to hold. It was on the same day and only a few hours.”
