“A very unique and calming place. Books galore and the vibe is fun. They have all types of categories to look at and a little coffee shop in rear. There's a small area to sit and work on your laptops etc. There are a few chairs throughout store to sit as well. The children's area is inviting as well. Knickknacks to look at it and a ton of cool drawings and colorful designs decorating the walls. Highly recommend this quaint, little gem.”

“A must go for anyone coming to austin! When I first stepped into the store, I was already amazed by the range of items they provided. As I walked into the store, I discovered even more pockets of spaces that seemed endless. (AKA the store is HUGE) They have many unique little items that are reasonably priced. Great for all ages and I will definitely come back again!”

“We came in for the first time the other day after seeing some cool photos on Instagram! Toy Joy is a fun shop with lots of different types of toys, games, hobbies and candy! They have different sections for Barbie, Playmobil, Hello Kitty, Pokemon, stuffed animals, collectibles and more. They display things in little trains and from the ceiling, which makes the experience great for kids. The candy shop has fresh chocolate choices along with other classic favorites. I got the chocolate covered gummy bears and they were delicious! I will say the prices are a little higher for the toys than you will find elsewhere, but that's to be expected at a small shop.”

“Wow, awesome comic book selection and loads of vintage figs NIB and loose. They have lots of Star Wars as well as GI Joe, Transformers and TMNT. In the back they have cards and sports merch. This store is really fun to walk through and take in. It's overflowing with nostalgia.”

“Had to make a quick stop for ice and drinks for a family function, but found time to check out this location. Upon entering the store and nice guy greeted us, so kudos for that. We also walked into a line of people waiting at self checkout. Yeah, that's not what any customer wants to see. What's the deal with not using the registers? The pantry area is well stocked unlike other areas of the store. Feels like so many areas of the store are missing products. Supply chain issues maybe. We quickly found our needs and headed out. Overall a good visit.”

“A store dedicated to flutes! Tyler, the repair technician, was able to make adjustments that made my flute playable again, in less than an hour and for less than $75. I can tell that my flute still needs some work, but at least it plays now. The staff members with whom I interacted were all friendly and helpful. I will definitely return for all of my flute repair needs.”

“Honestly the best art store in town. I've only ever had a problem finding something once and the art manager was able to order it for me. When it comes to art supplies only shop here for paints because of the help I get and the variety they carry. I can never resist the sale racks for shirts either. The paints are the cheapest in town that I've found and the largest selection.”
