“Volume One magazine was a pretty good local magazine when it first came out, and for maybe the first couple of years it was out. Now it's filled mostly with advertisements and fluff pieces for any kind of stories, which are very few. I keep picking up an issue, sometimes, hoping that it has gotten better, only to see that it's been a waste of my time to thumb through it. Won't someone in this town actually put out a magazine that is worth reading? The only thing this magazine is good for, is to line a bird cage.”

“Some of the people pricing in the back are sketch. This is a thrift store, not ebay. I should be thankful to them because I don't buy as much stuff nowadays. It's not that I can't afford it, but just on principle I won't buy things that are over-priced at a THRIFT store. If I was running this place, I would make sure employees understand that things should be priced to sell, otherwise they just end up in the dumpster out back. I don't think customers really understand just how much stuff St. Vincent and Goodwill stores throw away. Common sense=price to sell. I found a charity thrift shop run by volunteers and they price things so cheap that they sell quickly. That's where I will donate now”
