Kandariya Mahadeva Temple

( 8 reviews )

VW39+6V3, Sevagram, Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh 471606, India

“The architecture, style and beauty of temples in India are celebrated across the world. The extraordinary architecture of these ancient shrines attracts an increasing number of both national and international visitors every year. The origin of temple construction can be traced back to the pre-historic era when the reign of ancient rulers flourished in the country. Building beautiful temples. as we know has a rich heritage of composite culture. It exudes diversity in every nook and corner. It is one of the very few countries in the world that celebrates festivals and worships deities with glory and grandeur. It is only justified for a country that is the center of spirituality in the world to be bejeweled with such beautiful specimens of temple architecture in India.🇮🇳 I LOVE THIS PLACE 🫶🏻”

Amaravathi Crocodile Farm

Closed until 09:00 AM

C78F+X5X, Tamil Nadu 642102, India

“My recent visit to the Crocodile Park in Amaravati was truly delightful, making it a wonderful destination for families and nature enthusiasts alike. The park offers a captivating experience, especially for children, with its diverse collection of crocodiles. The variety of crocodile species on display provided an educational and engaging experience for young visitors. The well-maintained enclosures allowed for safe observation, and the knowledgeable staff added valuable insights into the world of these fascinating reptiles. While the park itself exceeded expectations, the issue arose with the parking arrangements. Parking is available on the roadside, a convenient option, but unfortunately, a fee is charged for this service. It seems unnecessary to charge visitors for parking, especially when it's an open area without designated spaces. A complimentary parking service would enhance the overall visitor experience and align better with the park's family-friendly appeal. Despite this minor inconvenience, the Crocodile Park at Amaravati remains a highly recommended destination for a day of learning and exploration. The enchanting atmosphere and captivating exhibits make it a standout attraction in the region.”

While not as extensive as some other cave complexes, the site exudes a peaceful aura and showcases remarkable craftsmanship, making it a hidden gem well worth exploring for those seeking a unique and contemplative experience. It's recommended to visit with a knowledgeable guide or do some research beforehand to truly appreciate the historical and cultural significance of the Amba-Ambika Buddhist Caves. While the site may not be as elaborate as some of its counterparts, its raw beauty, cultural heritage, and the sense of connection it fosters with ancient times make it a worthwhile stop for history enthusiasts and spiritual seekers alike.”

Bandhavgarh Fort
4.5
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 06:00 AM

M2MP+599, Bandhavgarh National Park, Bandhavgarh Qila Trail, Bandhavgarh, Madhya Pradesh 484664, India

“This must be saved, preserved under the world heritage site. There are some Buddhist caves and statues around 2000 years old but are not in good condition. A team of experts surveyed more than 40 caves several days amidst all dangers in the dense forest. These are Buddhist caves. Most of these are related to Buddhism. Locals believe there can be more than 100 caves in Bandhavgarh Park area. There's a lot of Kushan-e-era Brahmi records. Survey of five big temples has been done so far. The heights are parakottedar forts. Caves, temples, records and large statues scattered among the forest in the plain area. The statues are up to 20 feet tall. Overall this is a very good archeological and historical site. It should be preserved well.”
