Villa Fogazzaro Roi
4.8
( 8 reviews )

Via Antonio Fogazzaro, 14, 22010 Oria CO, Italy

“A visit to the ancien holiday maison of an Italian influential writer, which was lately used by his grandson Marquis Roi - a great collector of cigars, board games, books,….a lover of symmetric decoration,….gives us an insight of of the intellectual and bourgeois class of the 19th and 20th century. That inspires me a lot. The visit was accompanied by a friendly guide just a little regrets of not having enough time to wandering and looking more in detail the books, the furnitures the decorations there.”

There are some spots for great pictures. The park and the castle is very well maintained and if you take the castle tour, you'll learn some interesting stuff about it's long history. Last but not least, the wine tasting is awesome.”

4.5
( 16 reviews )

Piazza Manfredo Fanti, 47, 00185 Roma RM, Italy

“We had a couple of hours of waiting time till our train would leave so we decided to sit in the little park in the shade. After a while we learned that the inside of the historical building houses different FREE art exhibitions which we promptly visited. The staff there was very nice and helpful, the guards outside are also very nice and helpful even given the language barrier. The cafe is very reasonably priced and toilets in the basement are free and clean as well which is a very nice touch. On a saturday noon it was also barely visited which was very surprising given how pretty the building and park are and the location. If you want to get away from the crowds or like us have some time to kill and dont feel like wandering far from the train station definitely pay this a visit!”

Some practical information: there are only guided tours hourly, last one in the morning at 11.30, in the afternoon at 15.00 and at 17.00. Check the website for reservations. You cannot park at the garden so you have to find a place down in the city which is not easy. Than take a walk upstairs:) worth the visit, it is actually a must have!”

“It's a precious little botanical garden! I was passing through the street and I went there to take a break. Everything was so peaceful and relaxing. I enjoyed a little fountain at the entrance and this big old tree for a fun photo. I totally recommend going there, especially when there aren't any contractions going on.”

Ruota Panoramica
4.3
( 16 reviews )
Closed until 10:00 AM

Via Principe Umberto, 07026 Olbia SS, Italy

“The views are spectacular but it seems pricey at €10 for just 3 revolutions. Also when we were going round there was an alarming bang around 3/4 round each time. Nothing happened but when you’re that high in the air, any noise is a little concerning.”

Foof Museum Of The Dog Mondragone
4.3
( 16 reviews )
Closed until 10:00 AM

SS Domitiana Km. 20, 81034 Mondragone CE, Italy

“I really liked this place. You can play with dogs, however i don't reccomend going there on crowded days if you want to play with a dog that is not yours. The reasoning behind that is- that when there are too many people, they cannot keep track of the dog that you are taking care of/playing with. All in all, I think this place is splendid. If you already have a dog, and you want your dog to encounter other dogs and build a bond, this is the place to be. Also, this place is perfect for a picnic too. The only thing I haven't enjoyed was that there was poop everywhere. Not welcoming? Nope! There are further more advantages to this place than disadvantages, so I would rate this place a 4 or 5.”

Castle Of Graines

“A spectacular view from a mountaintop amidst the ruins of a castle. Amazing how people could have built such a thing in the middle ages and lived there. Worth visitung for the view and the experience”
