“What awesome time we had. We bowled first, which was fun. We had to get some shoes first, which was fun, which was quite simple once we worked out the sizing. Four of us had a great time, mum, dad, and the kiddos. They have food, hot, cold, drinks was reasonable, which was ok. Lots of people about, so if you want to book an event there, make sure you have it done in advance to get the full excitement of the site. You can get alcohol as well. You just have to drink it in their designated areas, but your wife may not let you drink as it is the kiddos' event. Staff were good with all our crazy questions and requirements. As busy as it was, we had a great bowling time, and the lazer tag was fun. With the mental dogems quite fast, there is a height to let the kids drive, which you need an adult to drive. “Went here with two of us on a Saturday afternoon, we got the mega package for $35 each including 2 bowling games, $20 off cafe food, $10 return tickets and 20 minutes of arcade games. The bowling alleys were nice and comfortable but it was really crowded and noisy the time we went. The cafe was also really busy and took over 30 minutes to deliver our food and drinks. The staff were very helpful and as soon as we told them about our food wait time they were very accomodating, we really appreciated it. The arcade was lots of fun but we didn’t realise that we don’t actually accumulate points that we collected on our 20 mins of arcade time. Very fun nonetheless, highly recommend overall but try come when it’s not packed”

“We bowled at Frankston. We had a group of 13 bowlers for three games each - a not insignificant cost. The lighting was so poor you couldn’t see the markings on the lanes so even trying for accurate bowling was impossible. The lanes were bumpy and not flat or level. One of our lanes was so rounded you could actually see the curve. The machinery in all lanes was faulty but in two of our four lanes was super dodgy; consistently missing or dropping pins in the set up. we lost count of the number of resets needed and in the end played with the 8 or 9 pins standing. Ball return failed several times. We got sick of bothering the poor attendant and just played on as best we could. Very disappointing as this used to be my league centre and the lanes and machinery were always spot on. We will reconsider our venue next time and Frankston (the most convenient) will not be on the list.”

“Had a birthday party with friends and family which included quite young children. One of the female workers had horrendous customer service and attitude. She spoke quite rudely towards the parents and children when serving and delivering food to us. And when a parent mistakenly left a belonging of there’s on the bin, a child went in to collect it and was blamed and ridiculed and met with childish behaviour and attitude. The other staff were lovely, but I would suggest if this worker wants to work in place with children and families that should a more positive and professional attitude. I would like to thank the friendly staff for a great time, definitely second guessing returning to this establishment.”

“Had fun but the attitude of staff left us with a bad impression. Our 10 year old son asked for a size 6 ball as the 8 was too heavy for him and the man put him down and told him it was for toddlers, the girl staff member then got him a smaller size from out back as they didn’t offer this size without asking. During the second game one of our party tried the “kids” size 10 ball as her wrist was hurting after having broken it last year. After 1 shot she was instantly told to not use it as it was for kids only. However we noticed other adults using it, including a staff member (or someone known by staff) without incident. If we were spoken to nicely it wouldn’t have been an issue but we left feeling belittled and ridiculed. I am a prominant professional and this is the worst service I’ve had in years”

“Nice little bowling centre with 12 lanes. Kitchen looks clean, friendly staff. A little run down, especially outside (which looks a little like somewhere in Harlem - why is there barbed wire on the fence?). Inside is OK, but needs a little more love. No problems, and the equipment seems well maintained. Needs more balls. If it was busy, I don't think there would have been enough balls for everyone, especially larger sizes.”

The downside for me was the lack of sauce on the schnitzel which in my opinion made the chicken taste a bit dry. There was only 3 prawns, so was hoping for a few more of those as well. The slaw and chips were good though.”

“Love coming here with my Mum for the $12 lunches as they are delicious and such great value for money. I do however think that the bar staff could do with more training in regards to making cocktails as the lovely older gentleman behind the bar always struggles with making my cocktails. I got a Pina Colada today and even though he genuinely tried his best to make it for me and apologized for the wait the drink was pretty flavourless,watered down and mostly made of ice. Apart from the cocktails the lunches and staff are always great and I can't fault the Paradise Point Bowls Club ❤️”
