“Very good lunch. We have returned a couple of times when visiting the area and always have enjoyed the meals. Staff is polite, they speak English and have an English (and German) menu. We recommend the omelettes, fried eggs and the local meat croquettes as well as their coffee.”

“Professioneel and friendly staff and also perfect food! I like the atmosphere and the decoration is special! Perfect place to spend time with your friends. The most important thing was that they did not ask you each second for a new drinks! In most of the NL restaurants, after drinking the last drop of your drink they come and ask to order another drink! But, here I was so comfortable and if I needed sth, I asked easily! Definitely back to this Gezellig place! :)”

“Great location for eating some really tasty pancakes close to the Waal. Went here with young kids on a Saturday afternoon and it was really quiet and the staff was super friendly. They immediately offered a kids friendly menu and brought a drawing and some crayons for the kids. Service was fast and the portions were huge!”

“we came in for a romantic valentine’s day dinner with my dear girlfriend. ❤️ i do love the holiday or valentine’s day, especially after my divorce from my husband and finding love again with my partner. 😍we reserved a table online in advance to celebrate the occasion and we’re so happy that we chose humphrey’s restaurant to celebrate valentine’s day. we ordered the three course menu, which had a vegan option for each course: starter, main and dessert! id say my favorite was definitely the starter which was vegan crispy chicken with a salad. the chicken was indeed very crispy and so well seasoned. 🥰unfortunately we were too full got dessert but the desserts we saw coming out looked fabulous! my girlfriend also really loved her starter which was a lobster soup. we were given complimentary prosecco and bread with spreads upon our arrival and lovely service from the staff! we also got their special valentine’s day cocktails which were so delish! unfortunately not strong enough to get us tipsy 🤣will definitely coming back to celebrate the next special occasion. ☺️”

“Food were delicious you gotta try the Dudok Chocolade Truffel Taart! and make sure to order one of their tea on the list (I had the very berry one, which was perfect to accompany the decadent chocolate cake). The service was nice& friendly (always with a smile), the price is reasonable, the place is small but cute&cozy, and almost always full everytime I came here.
