“We had a 12 hour layover in Miami on our trip abroad. We had a lovely brunch on Xmas eve, we were grateful they were open (unlike the last 2 places we tried beforehand). I tried the sayulita cocktail (which was like a mezcal old fashioned) a white sangria, and the California eggs Benedict. The seating outside was great, covered (saved us from a rain shower) but beautiful breeze. My boyfriend had the Dutch apple pancake and the south point punch cocktail and a mimosa. The food was excellent! Fresh, flavors well balanced and good portions! Will come again when we are back in town!”

“I travelled to Miami for a retreat and went to this restaurant twice. Once for dinner and the next day for brunch. Dinner was fabulous. I had the branzino which was served on a bed of spinach and I ordered the jalapeno potato puree as a side. For dessert I had the creme fraiche Panna cotta. Everything was delicious. The coconut lime sorbet served as a companion with the panna Cotta was so yummy! The panna cotta was a little sour so the sweetness from the sorbet balanced it perfectly. If you like popovers they serve them fresh and hot from the oven. My second experience the following day at this restaurant was not as enjoyable. I went for brunch. I ordered pancakes and a side of chicken sausage. I asked for the fruit that they put on top of the pancakes to be served on the side. For $19 I received two pancakes that were, in my opinion, small. The chicken sausage on the other hand was a sizeable portion for the $5 price. The pancakes were not tasty at all. I would definitely come back to this restaurant for dinner. A 20% "service charge" is added to every check regardless of the number of people dining. I dine alone both times and the service charge was added to my bill. My waitress confirmed that the service charge is the tip.”

“Spanish restaurant with traditional dishes and many options on the menu. The food was good. The staff was very friendly. They have tables outside with plenty of shade. If you are at the Marriot hotel it is around the corner. Ask for recommendation if you don’t know Spanish cuisine and try different items. Considering the area with limited options it is worth a visit!”

“My recent dining experience at the Fontana Restaurant in the Biltmore Hotel was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we walked in, the elegance of the setting and the rich history of the Biltmore, a National Historic Landmark, set the tone for a memorable evening. Our server, Edwin, was a highlight of our visit. He demonstrated exceptional service, combining professionalism with a genuinely friendly attitude. His patience was remarkable, as he never rushed us through our meal or pushed us to order individual dishes. Instead, Edwin offered recommendations that enhanced our dining experience, showing an impressive knowledge of the menu and the wines. The ambiance of the Fontana Restaurant perfectly complements its setting within the Biltmore Hotel. The restaurant's decor and atmosphere exude a sense of luxury and comfort, making it an ideal place for both special occasions and casual fine dining. Fontana Restaurant at the Biltmore Hotel offers a dining experience that is as rich in history and elegance as it is in culinary excellence. With staff like Edwin, who go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience, it's a place I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a remarkable meal in a historic setting.”

“Yuk! Is all I can think of right now. I wonder how many food violations they have. I'm sitting in my car writing this review while my experience is french on my mind. Here we go... I didn't take a picture of the food because I ate here once before and I was reminded why I never came back. I ordered biscuits and gravy with eggs over medium and bacon. My husband ordered the California omelet. The bacon came cold and looked as if it had been cooked in old oil. The food taste like absolutely nothing bland and old. He said his food "tasted old and like nothing" As I'm sitting there upset I'm looking around and there is no way this place doesn't have food violations. It's dingy and dirty, THE FOOD taste how the restaurant looks. I will never eat there again.”
