“We loved it!! We went on Saturday around 11 am. We got a table for 2 people after 15-20 min waiting (first come, first served) which is good considering that every diner in NYC is busy on the weekends. The manager and the staff were nice and diligent. The food was delicious. I recommend the pancakes, they were fluffy, perfectly buttered and if you want toppings they add them on top and in between the pancakes. The place is a traditional diner perfect for an american style brunch”

“Great spot - this was the only breakfast place in the area that had a good crowd and vibe. I liked their menu options - we ordered the Crab cake Benedict. I don’t eat a lot of sea food but I really liked it! The potatoes were flavorful and the avocado was very fresh. Our server was super sweet and service was quick. Overall great experience, would definitely come back again! There’s also Tompskin’s park close by to hang later on a sunny day.”

I could hardly hear the employees speak, and since the tables were so close to other tables they had to stand a bit farther than usual.”

“I had a spinach omelette with feta with a cup of coffee. The drip coffee was good. The place was still jammed at 3PM on a Saturday. We were seating in the outside area. It was quiet and warm enough. I was able to bring a stroller inside the wooden shack. The restaurant looks better inside.”

The whole lunch experience today from the food to the service was fantastic! The restaurant was packed, and I see why, I thought the menu options were great. “We came for the pancakes! And also got the poutine which was soo yummy. Ok, pancakes ranked (1 - best, 6 - hell no): #1. Cinnamon, 2. Butterscotch chip 3. Mac n cheese 4. White chocolate chip 5. Pecan 6. Dulce Leche Wished I tried more. But really, I came for the mac n cheese pancakes. They’re not super cheesy AT ALL. In fact it’s very subtle until you get to the middle of the pancakes. I can see myself snacking on one as a treat but probably won’t order it for a meal again. It’s worth trying though! And it does taste good. The raspberry iced tea wasn’t sweetened, which worked out in the end with all those pancakes! I’d you’re dining in, it’s a small space so you might need to a wait on line a little. The staff is super sweet.”
