“Stopped in here for a cup of tea and were really impressed. Lovely place with some lovely food options, including gluten free, although we didn't need any food. There is also a little shop. Staff were lovely and we got chatting to one of the owners, who was a very pleasant chap. They had just won a 6 counties award as the best cafe, or similar, and we would say well deserved. And clearly a family enterprise, which was nice.”

“Spent a lovely dinner evening here. Bottle of red which was Chateau Treviac was smooth and exquisite. This paired very nicely with the lamp rump and ribeye steak. The creme brulee was rich and had a very crisp caramelised coat.”

“Another great find!! Went there for a bite on a Friday evening. Place was jumping and the service was excellent. Actually couldn’t believe how quickly the starters were served. We had a mixture but mainly burgers along with beers and a nice bottle of wine. One thing of note and that was the Little Dinners. Now I love my food but my little wife is not such a goody. This choice of Little Dinners was right up her street and didn´t stretch her tummy! Great idea wish more would offer them.”

“Great restaurant next to the lodges where we stayed. We went there twice and had lunch and breakfast, on both occasions it was delicious. You can sit outside or inside, as the weather was good we sat outside to admire the view. This place is dog friendly. Thanks to all of the staff for their hospitality and making us feel welcomed”
