“It was our first time in this cafe. Service was great, however I noticed some members of stuff sounded like we bothered them by asking the question. Nevertheless stuff was polite and friendly. We were asked if our food was all right throughout our stay and if we needed anything else. I ordered chicken wraps and egg Florentine. My egg Florentine was a bit blunt. Also I found some crunchy bits inside, which therefore put me from finishing the rest. Chicken wraps were absolutely beautiful. I will be back, as the rest of the food and overall service was good. 4*”

“Great experience here. Found it on maps last minute while on a city break here and visited twice during our 3 days. Food was nice and favourite was the cinnamon crunch French toast. We had various things between us 3 and everyone was happy with their meals Also the martinis were amazing…honestly ! And with the 2 for 1 offer this was so good Service was great and hopefully got everyone we met those days but shoutout to Connor, Rubel, Libby and Vicky. All staff were friendly and welcoming. Love from ireland !”

“Blown away by the excellent Scandinavian inspired food and coffee. I had the French Toast and it was arguably the best French Toast I’ve ever had. The staff were very warm and attentive throughout and the cafe is beautifully organised - a great place to read or relax with coffee. Couldn’t recommend enough!”

“Had the Away afternoon tea. Very good selection of savoury treats. I really enjoyed the fish and chips and sausage roll. Sandwiches are rustic on thick slice bread but could have benefitted from more filling. Coffee and tea are unlimited and very good. Overall, it was a great experience.”

“Discovered this hidden gem while looking for a light lunch. We came with a dog, which was welcome on the curbside veranda. There are outside heaters, which were very welcome end of October, we'll make for the inside next time. Menu looks great, particularly impressed with the selection of drinks and cocktails and the fact there is actually Bermuda rum in the Dark & Stormy. Service was prompt and attentive. We had Tortilla chips with a delicious trio of salsas Chipotle black beans, which were scrumptious Smoky mushroom Tacos, very unusual, I liked them but a step too far for my daughter, who buried herself in Birria Tacos, which were excellent and she felt rivalled her favourite Don Taco's. In summary, we'll be back, definitely for Taco Tuesdays and after the sun is over the yard arm with serious intent for the cocktails.”

“First time back in Manchester after moving away a few years ago and ended up stopping here for a bite to eat. Never been before but I’m glad I did. The food was amazing, but the service was incredible and made us want to stay for drink (well for 2 hours worth of drink 😂). Jordan made us feel so welcome and even took the time out to speak to me and calm my nerves as I’m terrified of flying and was flying the next day… all in all it was a great experience and Jordan is an absolute credit to your team. Will definitely be returning”
