“Oh my goodness! Bridges set a high bar for service and experience! We wanted to have dinner in the restaurant… but being a last minute decision…they were booked but had the Chef’s Dinner open. We said yes and it was by far our best decision! Sitting in the kitchen with the hotel courtyard to our backs made the experience even better! Chef and or his staff explained every dish as served and the Sommelier talked about each wine with each course. It’s hard to pick a favorite dish as they were all over the top! But definitely a place we want to visit again. Date of visit September 2022”

“Not sure why this place gets negative reviews, food was delicious and service is great. Yes, it’s a bit hard to find, it sits above an Indian restaurant and you have to go through the Indian restaurant and take the stairs. There’s no sign outside but if you spot the Jamaican flags in the first floor window, that’s them. We went for dinner on a Saturday night and they were sold out of a few small dishes but most of the mains were available. The jerk chicken and goat curry were delicious. The place is small but clean and service was very fast, friendly and attentive.”

“Burger was great, the toppings paired well, hand made fresh sweet cucumber/pickles with other crisp toppings, the bun was perfectly toasted, was soft but still has a crunch on the edge when you bite into it. Burger was juicy even though it was cooked medium well. The truffles fries were good, and had a good crunch and not soggy from the topping. I had the pineapple margarita, overall good.”

Top tip: The place has meeting rooms on the second floor, and it looks like a cool place for a team get-together.”
