“We visited whilst the craft fair was on. There were stalls and live music on at the brewery tap. Very good beer and there is an outside area with benches. Seating inside as well. Parking is on the car park for Whitby abbey which is only 5 minute walk. Free parking Nov - March but charges apply outside this period.”

“Great brewery space and great beer. The beers are always good and the space is always clean. Getting there early is a good shout as within an hour on a weekend it can get super busy. So far the three or four times I’ve been, they’ve always had some good food trucks too. (make sure to check on instagram before hand to check what food is on)”

“Food was OK, but quite expensive. £19 for a burger which was a little dry. £10 for a dessert. Service was poor. Asked for mayo and didn't arrive. Cutlery had to be asked for after each course had arrived, when it was delivered there was not enough cutlery and had to ask again. Very inattentive, and it wasn't busy. Building is lovely and nice atmosphere. Go for a beer but would not advise eating there. Quite a lot of vegan and vegetarian options.”

“From humble beginnings a few years ago, this place has really expanded. Even since last summer, it's opened up into a wide cow shed to the side of the initial bar area. The new section, bedecked with beer barrels along the walls, looks like a venue for a beer festival - an impression that is enhanced by the wide selection of beers on offer. It's now a very pleasant venue, with plenty of staff on hand. The Old Dairy beers are still very good. The only downside is that the food is quite amateurish, a food truck that couldn't make any food (due to some issue with electric). Consequently, we left to find lunch elsewhere.”
