The BBQ food truck looked amazing but unfortunately they were out of brisket when we tried to order so next time. We’re searching for a place to relocate here in Central FL and our thought is that if there’s a good brewery in town, then that’s a good start. And Grove Roots surely made our cut so if we do decide to move here, this will definitely be our go to place for drinks.”

I found a seat inside (thank you, air conditioning) that was next to a power outlet where I could catch up on a few emails and write a few Yelp reviews while sipping a couple delicious beers. I also got dinner from the "food truck" that was here tonight making for a full meal. Nice vibe here from a friendly if overworked bartender who was needing a helper but doing his best. There were a few families with kids, one couple that looked to be on a date and a group of friends all chilling. All cool.”

“This is my go-to brewery in Central Florida. Only open since summer 2021, they have quickly carved out a nice corner of the local beer market in Sanford, which has four production breweries and one taproom. Dees Bros offers a variety of brews and foods to make this a one-stop place for an evening. Or lunch. Because it may be only half past noon, but it’s five o’clock somewhere. First things first. I went with my personal fave, the Thunder & Lightning IPA. It’s an easy drinking, foam-mustache-leaving brew (7% ABV; 74 IBU) that quickly leaves you with an empty glass in need of a refill. Yes. As a matter of fact, I *will* have one more. For dinner, we went with vegan options, including the pretzel with a spicy mustard, the Vegan Veggie Flatbread, and Vegan Sloppy Dog. But fear not, omnivores, because Dees Bros has tons of pub fare to satisfy all dietary preferences. That’s one of the things I like best about Dees Bros, because they take care of everyone. Movie nights and live music are on selected days of the week. Sidewalk dining is available for when the temps are conducive. Indoor seating ranges from a long U-shaped bar to high-tops and community-style picnic tables. If an unpretentious craft brewery is what you seek, by all means visit Dees Bros. I might even see you on this trip.”

“My absolute favorite brewery of all time. Seriously. The historic building is wonderful. The decor is eclectic, and a great vibe. They have kids’ toys inside and outside, and EVEN IN THE POTTIES while mom or dad go! Their beer is sooo good (even tried a cider there I loved, and I’m not a cider girlie). Their merch is 10/10 — my favorite brewery tshirt I own is MAB. They are inclusive and support all kinds of local charities. They also have live music every Thursday and usually other nights of the week too. They have a bar kitty named Myrtle. Dogs are allowed. The staff has always been super friendly. Their outdoor patio is so cozy and cute at the same time, and they have both covered and uncovered seating. The outdoor area is pretty shady during the daytime, which is nice in the Florida summers. They also have a food hut and two local gigs take turns providing the food vending during the week. When I tell you I LOVE this brewery, I LOVE this brewery.”
