“My only regret about Icha Tea is not coming here more than once. I had the chrysanthemum milk tea and it. Was. Delicious. The guy recommended it when I said I love Taro but didn't want that right now and I am so grateful. The ambi was perfect, so nicely decorated and put together. I loved the art as you can see from my photos. I wish I had more time to go back and have one of the teapots because I saw someone having some and it looked incredible. Also the ppl I was with said their desserts they got were really crazy good too. Next time I'm driving to Canada to hit up Toronto this is going to be a must stop.”

“Ordered the Taiwanese pork rice bowl and the popcorn chicken which are my usual favourites. I haven’t ordered it in a while but I was quite disappointed this time around. As for the pork rice, it had an odd sour taste to it. My mom and I had a couple of bites each before asking each other if we were just imagining it or was that actually the case. My stomach is feeling slightly upset as I’m writing this. The broccoli were 2 different shades with one being green and the other being a little yellow. I’m confused if they were cooked separately, if one piece was going bad but overall I was scared to finish the dish after that. The popcorn chicken is usually light and crunchy but as you can see in the photo, it was super oily. I don’t mind the chicken being soggy as I take that risk ordering it for delivery but I think this time it was more due to that excess in oil rather than the food itself steaming up on the drive over. For extra context I placed my Uber order around 10:45, didn’t assume I’d have to worry about last call affecting the chef’s efforts as they close at 11:30 according to their hours on Google. On the bright side, the drinks I ordered were fine. I also ordered one of the toast which was also fine, but on if the toast had issues too I’d be worried. Was one of my favourite spots during Covid, just leaving this review cuz I want em to step it up a bit.”

The cups have cool cartoons and a very unique design. The bubble tea itself was alright, I didn't have a rich tea flavour, the pearls were nice and chewy.”

“The nut cream is thick & tasty! You won’t notice it’s vegan. Plus, a very Instagram worthy location. Gluten free options were basically unlimited. I’ll have to go back another time because they were so busy opening week that they were short on ingredients in the evening. The strawberry nut cream is next on my list! Update: I went back and the strawberry nut cream was totally worth it!! Highly recommend any drink with that in it.”

“First thing to note - their small is really tiny and their regular is probably as big as a large elsewhere. We got the taro flavor which is just powdered stuff. The cheapest in van is $3.99 but average is still $5 so this place costs about average. However they dont put enough of the powder. I've had worse and really watered down. This is somewhere in between. Definitely can benefit by adding more powder. Have yet to try other stuff but looking forward to fresh fruit smoothies since a lot of bbt places don't do that.”

“I love the drinks from here. I got Taro smoothie and mango smoothie. The mango was refreshing. It didn't taste artificial. It is also less sweet and more closer to the natural sweetness of mango. The Taro was actually sweeter even though I asked for 75% sugar in comparison to 100% sugar in the mango. I do wish the cups were actually regular size vs it looked more like small.”

“I decided to go try it today and the experience of making a juice was nice. The drinks choices looks limited but once you are told that you can mix and match different flavors and have more than 2 choices for some drinks then the choices becomes almost unlimited!! I loved the experience of making my own…Well sort of…They add flavored bubbles to your drink but they added too much water in the mixture… The ladies were awesome! Smiling, explains so well and the experience became even more fun! It is a little expensive for cheap juice as quality like with bubbles but the try was worth it if you dont think about the quality…if you have never been there to make a weird watery juice. ——- I have retried once again and my disappointment was the same. Cheap juice as the ladies add so much water (more disappointing it is water from the tap so it adds a weird flavor to the juice). The juice still was cheap like watery juice with bubbles that barely taste anything… The experience is less fun as i knew what i was getting and well i am not going to give it a 3rd try. I am done with this place.”

The lady came back with a regular size bubble tea, stating it was because I asked for less bubbles, I asked them to switch it back into a large cup. They ended up giving me only half of the cup, it just doesn’t make sense to me how having less pearls can decrease the size that much? It was also a $9 bubble tea, I just think it wasn’t worth it.”
