“As someone who prefers sweeter drinks, it's often hard for me to find low-carb options that work for my dietary restrictions, but the staff here were incredibly helpful and accommodating. I ordered an Americano with half & half and sugar-free vanilla, but the barista went above and beyond to create a relatively sweet yet low-carb drink that was close to a cappuccino. While I'm not entirely sure if it was exactly what I ordered or some unique creation because they worked some magic to accommodate my dietary restrictions, it tasted absolutely delicious. I really appreciated their willingness to take the time to create a special drink just for me. One thing to note is that they don't offer any sugar-free milk options or heavy cream (or maybe just didn't have any at the time? 🤷🏻‍♀️). Even the almond milk had added sugar. However, the half & half worked great for my order and I was impressed by the quality of the coffee (but I’m no coffee connoisseur). They also didn't have many sugar free flavor options. The atmosphere of the shop was delightful - it was warm and welcoming, with plenty of seating and a cozy ambiance. Although I didn't have any food during my visit, the options sounded tasty and the staff was more than willing to make adjustments to accommodate any dietary restrictions. They definitely spent quite a bit of time with me at the counter, patiently answering my questions about the sugar and carb count of their drinks and food items! Overall, I highly recommend Austin Tea Xchange. With low-carb menu and drink options and staff that are willing to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction, this cafe truly stands out.”

“My family and I just found this store. It is a gem! Love the atmosphere in the store, very surprised to see how clean it is with full pack of crowded people. It is also very spacious and bright! Nice place to have teatime with family or Friends. Staff are friendly and agile, love the vibe there. They do have large selections of drink and toppings. My husband and I enjoyed traditional Taiwanese Boba drink which is boba milk tea. They balance the tea and milk very well, very tasty and bobas are very chewy. My daughter loved Strawberry Lemonade + Passion Fruit Burster. We are told the snowyn and smoothie are must try. Will surely come back soon for them.”

“I got the bantha milk tea, it tasted like regular milk and was not blue. It was kind of disgusting and I just threw it away. To clarify: I asked if it was flavored like disneys bantha milk and I was told it was made with coconut and blue curaçao I believe, I can’t taste either of those. I was also told it was dairy free but my stomach is hurting really bad so I’m scared that it was wrong though it could be the flavor upsetting my stomach. It just tastes like milk but gross. The popping boba was good but is ruined by this weird flavor. So disappointed either my drink is wrong or the name is, cause this tastes almost like lavender or something. It has a nice atmosphere just be careful what you order”

“There is a girl that works here, she is a student. Every time I visit she always seems annoyed. She’s usually on her laptop doing homework or on the phone. When you enter she hops up and runs behind the counter. It’s 2023 so I understand the culture is pretty lax these days but I found it very uncomfortable that she took my order while on FaceTime with someone. I ordered 2 Regular(Small) bobas which are completely overpriced. My total was $14.08. I had cash and gave her $20. She asked me if I had 8 cents. I did not have 8 cents. She then told me she did not have change to give me if I paid with cash. I did not have a debit card on me at the time. So I ended up having to leave because there seemed to be no solution as to how she and this BUSINESS could make this transaction work. Could we have applied a discount? Rounded up, rounded down? Not sure, but I’m good on giving this place chances. There’s better and CHEAPER boba”
