“I couldn't take much pictures and videos as I was here for my near cousins wedding lunch. The food was awesome and perfectly presented. The head chef here Mr. Sharma seem to know the girl's family, hence the awesome food and great presentation. It's a food of a kind with a very good ambience. They have a small wall fountain outside and nicely decorated shrubs which eventually is the reason of cool breeze.”

“It was an excellent experience dining at the Malabar Cafe (Grand Hyatt, Kochi). We ordered North Indian dishes and everything had authentic flavours. I highly recommend trying out the butter chicken with steamed rice or paratha. The service was top notch and so were the views…we’ll be back 🙂”

“Overall the food quality was good and the ambience was nice. I would recommend for a family or even couples as well. Food : To start with food and dishes available, it is buffet that we went and they had good variety in starters, main course and dessert. I liked their mutton curry and chicken starter. While there may not be many options but the taste of both veg and non veg starters were good. Ambience: while the restaurant might be compact with limited space but their outdoor view and the resort is good and you have access to their lawn and beach as well which is worth visiting. I really liked it. Cost: It is around 2k per person for a dinner buffet and I would say it is bit expensive but given the ambience and the food quality I would say worth the spent. Overall if you are looking to spend some good quality time along with good food with your loved ones I would recommend this place for sure.”

“Went to Casino on a nice overcast late evening for the buffet dinner. The spread is limited compared to other fine dining options but many of the dishes were mouth watering and heavenly. The stand out dishes were cut beef with pepper sauce and creamy seafood salad. There are 8 items in the dessert and I liked Tiramisu and passion fruit mousse the most. The spread also had two types of fishes and chilly pork too. Tip: 1) Used swiggy dineout to get 30% off without any conditions or pre-booking. 2) if you want naan and similar items please ask for it. We were asked quote late just before we went for desserts. 3) There are not many seafood items , if you wish to try them go to the seafood restaurant for their ala carte dinner.”

“If you compare with bbq nation they have some extra number of varieties like pizza , quail, rabbit , shark etc but i felt that these are just for name sake. Non veg barbecue starter did not look fresh as they seemed too dried and less of juicy and tender. Service is very poor. It was clearly visible that their staff were amateur and they themselves were learning. This is fine at initial days and i hope that it will improve in future. Overall definitely try at least once with a caution that the service may not be very good.”

Their menu offers both buffet as well as a la carte. Buffet is approx: Rs.1200/- plus taxes. Service fee may be included. Service is simply awesome and you will be attended by a number of well-trained and smart stewards. If you are lucky, you may find their top Chef making the rounds and may offer one or two of his specialties. Very friendly and you will not regret spending there even though it is expensive. However, the spread and the sheer variety in starters, mains and then the salads and desserts, not to mention the friendliness and hospitality, more than makes up for this. Money well spent.”
