“Overall, 3.5⭐ Service was impeccable as you would expect from a restaurant in a 5-star hotel. Ambience was cosy. It wasn't full on a Saturday afternoon and it is a great place to yum cha. Foodwise, the dim sum does not hit all the notes. In fairness, dim sum is one of the hardest parts of Chinese cuisine to master as anything could go wrong with the morsels especially texture. The highlight was the fried prawm roll. The prawn flesh was fresh and naturally bouncy and the beancurd skin was delicate. As was the fried prawn and scallop. The siew mai and fried radish cake were decent (although it is uncommon to deep fry the radish cake before pan frying). The others (char siu bun, lor mai kai and steamed prawn wantan with spicy sauce) could improve on their texture. Even though it has not supplanted my top 2 dim sum places in the Klang Valley, it is nice place to while away a perfect dim sum afternoon. Note: at RM68++ the wargaemas (above 60yo) dim sum buffet is value for money. Otherwise it is RM108++”
