“I purchased front door and storm door from here..Asked for both to be left swing..Took a month for delivery..Yesterday the Carpenter went to install and the front door was right swing..Had no choice but to install it..30 degrees out and couldn’t wait a week or so for another door..When I said I should be compensated for this I got the send a letter to main headquarters..Yeah..That goes no where and also that Office is rated 1.8!!!..This store and Menards in general have gone down hill..Keep selling pizza’s and milk and this will happen..Not to mention kids working in areas where a adult with EXPERIENCE should be..I will be going to Home Depot from now on..I suggest that to everyone.”

“Worst customer service experience— I purchased a dryer from my local Lowe's store. Lowe's delivered 3 different dryers all which didn’t work upon installation. After the third attempt, I requested a refund. The refund was granted, but not refunded back to my credit card, but instead refunded to my local store. I had to return to the store, where I waited an hour to receive cash back on my credit card purchase. Hours were wasted and while the customer service agents I spoke with apologized and were pleasant, no one ever offered a discount, gift card or any other compensation for the inconvenience. I will never make another purchase from Lowe's again.”

“Don't buy lumber here, it's junk!!!!! Bought 5,000 - 6,000 dollars worth of lumber to build about 600 feet of privacy fence. A year and a half later and all of the treated 2x4s are warped and twisted. Not one fence panel is straight. If you look down my fence it's bowed in and out all the way down. It looks absolutely horrible!!!!! $5,000 plus worth of material that needs to be ripped out after a year and a half!!!!! And about 3-4 weeks of my work down the drain. Between my labor and the cost of material, I'm out around $10,000. I may be talking to a lawyer soon. My neighbors 15 year old privacy fence is still straight. I guess they cared about treating lumber properly back then. Don't buy Menards lumber unless you want to do your job all over again.”

“Purchased a 12ft x 30ft x 10ft Lean-To for my Pole Barn. Crew arrived on time as promised. The crew Foreman David and briefly discussed the Installtion location. The crew started immediately unloading materials. They installed the frame accurately (used level on everything) and anchored it. They completed the entire Installation in (4) hours. After they finished David did a walkthrough checking screws, bolts etc. They cleaned up all boxes and leftover scraps and put in the garbage can. David asked if I had any questions and if I was satisfied. Looked Great Good Job”

“Walked in and asked if they had any plastic rod sockets for a closet dowl rod. Immediately told by the very rude owner that "they didn't have anything like that." I was told to go shop at a larger establishment. I asked to see what items they had on hand for dowl rods and closets. The owner, who wasn't really listening, kept stating the longest dowl rod they owned was 4 feet. He kept pointing out what 4 feet was. I'm looking for a socket to hold the rod, not the rod, but he was annoyed someone asked him for assistance. I asked how much paint would be, and his prices are double what Sherwin has. Avoid this place at all costs. The owner needs a better attitude, and he could exercise by sweeping the sidewalk for once.”
