“This 5 star rating is for a burger bar, not a restaurant. The food is amazing, so much love and care put into everything food related I was blown away. The burger was deliciously tender, the dumplings were freshly made and very well seasoned - and also the taiwanese pizza (typical wrapped bread food) was perfect. However, even though the food is really up there in quality and creativity, this is not a place for fine dining. There are only 3 crowded tables and a bar. The food is cooked directly at the bar, which is great for that bar feeling - but also means that you will have to bring your clothes to the cleaner before you wear them to the office again. 😉 I really wish you all the best and lots of success! I can really imagine this place becoming a real restaurant - all you need is another room with more seating, some simple but quality interior - maybe a waiter or two, and more time... Looking forward to trying out many more from the menu on our next visits to Braunlage.”

The Pommes are fresh as well and superb . I think only the corn in the salad is not local . Come as you are atmosphere makes for a relaxed and fun experience . The service is fast and friendly . “The Sissi und Franz in Frankfurt is particularly impressive with its beautiful, comfortable seating. Plus it still looks very new. Food: We ate the Eugeni Burger, the Albert Burger and the Pomm Green (with guacamole & sour cream). There were deductions from food mainly for these reasons: 1. The Pomm Green were just finished products. I may be wrong, neither the guacamole nor the sour cream were homemade. The fries were frozen. In addition, the guacamole was a bit rancid in some places. 2. The Eugenie Burger was difficult to identify in terms of components. Everything was more or less a mass of ingredients. 3. The meat didn't really seem home-cooked, more like store-bought patties. 4. The drinks: There is a large selection of lemonades, but it seems to me that they simply use different syrups instead of their own creation with “real” raw materials. The lemonades were very sweet. There are also deductions because of the sanitary facilities. The door damper is defective. There were no paper towels in the dispenser. One of the dispensers was just hanging open in the room. The stairs to the sanitary facilities haven't been swept for a while. The service was great! Super fast, very friendly and the food was on the table super quickly. Thanks for that! As a reference for this review, I use the burger restaurant “Holy Moly” in Bad Soden, which in my opinion is still one of the top addresses for burgers in Rhine-Main.”

“As the great Colonel (Sanders) once (ok, never) sang "always look on the fried side of life." This is a lovely place and setting. I'm told over the years, the locals have watched this place improve from a very curious mix of the tolerable and embarrassing. These guys are doing a good job. The service is friendly and the food does a simple job quite well. The fried elements dominate, but that's not so unusual in Deutschland. Fish does work well in beer batter. It helps if there's enough beer in the batter to thin it to the degree that the whole operation is over quickly. The overly viscous batter here means that the batter is approaching doughnut thickness, which doesn't serve the cocooned fish very well...the fries are super, and the sauces good. The salad isn't bad at all, although an acquired taste. The drinks are fine, though €7.50 for the juice/water combo we enjoyed is as up there as a firework. Overall the place serves up an experience, and a pretty good one at that. Plan a walk while you're there..its a sweet spot”
