“My partner and I went to the Academy for our engagement dinner. We didn't want anything super fancy (or super pricey!) and we're not native to this area of Cleveland, so we pulled up some local restaurants and the Academy looked great to us. We weren't disappointed! After a very brief moment of confusion when we walked in - I thought it might be a UK pub-type setup, where you order at the bar - we sat ourselves and our server, the manager for the night (so sorry I forgot your name!) came right over. The manager was amazing: great service, really kind, and clearly loves the place. We each had an Ace pineapple cider, which was maybe one of the best ciders I've ever had (and I love hard ciders). On tap, perfect blend of sweet and dry, and the pineapple flavor isn't overpowering. I liked it so much I had a second. For food, we got six Buffalo wings, a basket of onion rings, and the Academy burger and fries. The wings were literally everything I want from a chicken wing: fresh, hot, tossed but not soaked in sauce. Some people might prefer a crisper wing - as far as I could tell, these weren't battered or floured (although I could be wrong) but for me they were perfect. The onion rings were fresh out of the fryer and not too greasy, so that's an immediate win. We didn't end up eating much of the burger, but that's through no fault of the burger! The portion of it I did have was well cooked, juicy, and thick. Great quality burger, I just wish I was hungry enough for it! And, of course, my fiancé's star of the show: the fries. Fries were the perfect thickness, not too thick and not too tiny, freshly cooked, and the seasoning on them was top notch. I think my partner ate more of the fries than any other part of the meal. All this and our meal and drinks came out to about $47! I literally did a double take at the bill because I couldn't believe it was so low. I want to give a special shout out to the manager (again, so sorry I forgot your name) for being so helpful and kind. Without him our experience would still have been great, but he was an absolute star.”

“Since we sadly don't have Culver's in PA, I usually describe it as a combination of Friendly's and McDonald's. You order up front where you walk in but they bring the food to your table. I think the food is better than typical fast food. The Butter Burgers are amazing! As always, your best off getting it with cheese and bacon of course. They also have fried cheese curds and pretzel bites which are both excellent. You can get steamed broccoli for something healthy as well. They also have their own root beer which is excellent as well! They're also known for their custard. You can order vanilla, chocolate, or whatever their flavor of the day is. If you want fast food with a better than normal burger and some fun side options, give Culver's a try!”

I got the heavy D burger. 1 pound of meat. Massive. THE BEST BURGER I have EVER had! Hands down 100%. Also got the loaded fries. And let me tell you. They are loaded. And not just on top. All the way through. Food was cooked to perfection. Staff were awesome. The building was clean. What else can you ask for?? When I took a bite into my burger I came upon something as crunchy as a Macintosh apple which turned out to be hard avocado. My entire burger is now not even worth getting. I can’t eat the bacon, as it was not cooked as requested, is chewy, and the avocado had to be removed because it’s10000% not ripe.”

“Located on the west side of the square in the heart of downtown Medina is this little gem - the food is fantastic (tastes great, plus good value for the price, i.e. leftovers!), the atmosphere is cool, and the service staff are very friendly, as is the manager! We both had the chef special hand held (should be ' hands held", requires two hands unless you are Shaq-sized! Haha) with crispy chicken - tender, juicy, and tasty! I was surprised by how flavorful their french fries are and the mac-n-cheese also has great flavor. Worth a trip to Medina if you don't live in these parts 👍👍”

Bothe had little to no fruit inside and consisted of rows of needle textured dough drowned in aacornststch overloaded thick save. Absolutely the worst cobbler I have ever eaten. I also ordered a spaghetti and meatball dinner wherein the sauce had too much paste in it….more like tarte pizza sauce. May use one sauce for both pizzas and spaghetti dinners. I didn’t even taste the meatballs because the were hard to cut into and stringy when pulled apart. Lastly, the garlic roll I received was made up of a white bread elongated bun with I’m guessing cheap margarine and garlic powder. Spent $33.00 for spaghetti, garlic bunnandc2 cobblers plus free doirdash as it was my first time using and a $6 delivery tip. Never again. Total waste of my hard earned money. So sad because I’ve been hit so hard financially this past couple weeks, was hungry eagerly awaiting a good home cooked meal and the above description is what I was disappointingly delivered.”

“Pretty solid place for a casual dinner. Cool decor. Great beer selections. Large party, seated quickly. Pretzels were pretty good but the queso combo was not as good as the honey mustard stuff. Brussels sprouts were great. Most everyone in our party got different things. Bacon Jelly Burger was a little short on the bacon jelly. Patty and other toppings were good, roll was nothing special. Similar feedback on the PBB&J burger, jelly was lacking. Fries and chips were good, flatbread looked great. Good portions, fair prices. We did get hit with a 20% tip added to the bill and no one saw it until 4-5 of us had paid and over tipped at that point. Would be nice if they just gave a heads up before we started paying. I would probably go back but not for a burger.”
