“The employee Lauriana is super rude, she has a disgusting attitude. Oportun should have employees with a good customer service, especially with someone who is trying to get a loan here. My father came here to apply for a loan, and she got upset when I asked a question twice because he didn't understand the 1st time. She then proceeded to tell us to leave when I confronted her for her lack of patience and lack of good customer service. We had to go to a different location because we did not like her attitude.”

“The sales process up front was good and reps are very nice, but now after closing 3 loans with Kiavi, I can say they do not live up to their promises. Execution is severely lacking and I would never recommend any investor use Kiavi where the timing of closing is important. My most recent loan took 5+ weeks when I was refinancing from a bridge loan to a permanent loan within Kiavi! Even to get a loan closed in 5 weeks, diligent follow up is required and communication is very poor. Sadly, I have now left two voicemails for Kiavi reps with no response as I've been trying to resolve an issue with the amount I was charged at closing.”
