We had the gnocchi in tomato sauce and the peposa all'impruneta. They were both so good we had to tell the chef processing our bill that it was the best meal we had on this trip to Florence. We will definitely be back to try some other dishes.”

The square is quite lively with lots of great stores to explore. We had espresso at a bakery/bar on two mornings with delicious pastries.”

They also have a very tasty vegetarian dish, gnudi, which is full of ricotta cheese and spinach, and also carciofi fritti (fried artichoke). The service and hospitality is very nice. They serve Prosecco as a welcome gift. Overall, this place made our Italy trip much more enjoyable 🙂”

(As I came in with locals who can speak Italian and been to this restaurant many times, so we know what to order straight away, the place can be hectic when it’s full and I can feel that staffs are trying their best to attend all customers) The prosciutto with melon was just mouth-watering and the steak was sooooo tasty!!!! “Simply perfect, we visit this area every year and are always searching for the best places to eat, we found it! No issues with booking, the actual premises are beautiful, very family Friendly but also quite romantic and classy, the staff are on point, not too intrusive and very attentive, what's important is obviously the food and this did NOT disappoint, we had the starters fresh cuts of meat, cheese, some light vegetables and bread which was fresh and delicious and a great variety, the first course of ragù for me and the vegetable pasta for my wife, sincerely the best ragù I've ever eaten, the first taste blew my mind, huge compliments when ragù is such a common dish here but the fresh and natural ingredients really really made the dish excellent! The main was the mixed grill, you are never more than a few meters away from the outdoor grill and you can watch as they prepare your meat, they may dance a little bit which most certainly adds to the flavour as ever single bite was just delicious and mouth watering! The owner was such a beautiful man who conversed with as many as he could very calmly and happily, again never intrusive just a very nice man and a very very delicious and well presented restaurant, huge compliments to the whole team, thank you for fulfilling our need for great food! We will most certainly be back! 11/10!! Price was very very fair,, not worth considering when the quality of food is priceless. You usually get what you pay for here you get that little bit more ;)”
