The waitress brought my plate without telling me it was burning hot, I burned my finger and told her, she laughed and said she was carrying it with a towel so she couldn’t know. Then we ask for a water refill, it took 15min and she brought gaz water when we were drinking still water all the time. And overall the staff was unresponsive. The food was good. Not exceptional but good and interesting, 4 stars. But the service was the worst I had in a long time”

“Just had another visit here tonight, the last one being 5 years ago. Still amazing. Not your cliche bouchon… the staff are convivial and helpful despite being busy. The food is amazing - absolutely authentic and uncompromising. Not an escargot in sight (and that’s a wonderful thing). We had a fun bottle of regional wine made by the chef: ask for it. Make a reservation and don’t mind where they seat you. Thats not the point.”

“The worst Korean food ever. In fact, this is not Korean food. This restaurant is decorated like a restaurant in Korea but it is run by the Chinese who have no idea what Korean food is. Their kimchi is not kimchi at all. It was cabbage salad mixed with low quality pepper powder and oil. Oil! Their marinated meat was pure sugar. My teeth hurt while eating the meat because it was too much sugar. I felt sick after eating here. Never go here if you want to have Korean food.”

The food was innovative and delicious - with every course bringing a new surprise and experience. The menu focused on traditional foods of Lyon, and we enjoyed a variety of dishes to include catfish, frog legs, cod roe, crayfish, beets, veal sweetbread, duck, and some beautiful desserts. The wine pairing was perfect, and both the food and wine were just the right amount – not leaving us too full or overwhelmed. The owners, Helene and Maxime, served us throughout the evening, thus making it even more special. We greatly enjoyed our experience and highly recommend booking a table at Rustique for your next visit to Lyon.”

Cute place with Portuguese accents. Service is very friendly but felt the waiter wasn’t particularly fluent in French. All in all, definitely worth checking out 🍽️”
