“My colleagues and visited this establishment on the holiday. We were elated the place was open. We took an Uber as it was raining. The goat cheese rolls came out hot and fresh. I didn't want to share. I forgot to take a picture of the of the salmon. It included fresh raw veggies and a cooked veggie medley. The salmon filet was huge. I prefer my salmon cooked med well. The salmon was well done. Since I didn't offer my preference in the beginning, I opted to not complain. It was seasoned well and still a delight so I enjoyed it. The red wine was amazing. “TL;DR: unsafe handling, allergies I came here with my family over summer. The ice-cream they serve is wonderful, all the flavours (there's a good range) are as delicious as they sound and they offer a good variety of "vegan" flavours that you don't find anywhere else. This is where the bad experience comes in - the "vegan" ice-cream isn't truly vegan, because the staff will use the same tools for the vegan ice-cream as for the dairy kinds, not washed in between. Unfortunately, this means that allergens are moved around between all the ice-creams, making it really unsafe for anyone with an allergy (like me, allergic to dairy). Notifying them of allergies would make no difference, as the flavors still get mixed the rest of the time when they aren't careful so changing gloves and tools would do nothing. Unfortunately, I was not the one who ordered so I didn't see this until after I had eaten some of the "vegan" ice-cream and spent the rest of the day being incredibly sick.”
