“First time eating here. Service was nice and helpful. Temp indoor was a bit muggy I recommend sitting next to a fan. FOOD brisket definitely would ask for the moist brisket had the lean and it was dry and had to put sauce to make it moist. The sausage with cheese and jalapeno was good. The cheese was melting on the inside. The sausage ends were a bit tough and dry. Pork ribs were tasty and the seasoning had flavor not too overpowering. SIDES Mac and cheese was good not watery like other places, it did have flavor. Cream corn was good and not watery like other places. It would be nice if the simple sides pickles, onion and jalapenos were bigger portions.”

“Went to the new location on Staples looks very nice and orderly. Whats not nice is the cashiers they wont even look at or greet you. I purchased a 50 dollar Tomahawk steak and a Victoria qt of beer. The cashiers wont even look you in the face. Really weird!Go work somewhere else if you despise people and their hard earned money.”

“Excellent meat, BUT YOU BETTER CALL BEFORE DRIVING OVER THERE. THEY RANDOMLY CLOSE ON REGULAR BUSINESS DAYS. The last 3 times I’ve driven there, they were closed. Oh well, in a city size of Houston, there are numerous alternatives.”

“Honestly I ordered from here because we'd been on the road all day and it was open, close, and relatively cheap. I was completely blown away by how well the food had been cooked, the shrimp fried rice was literally the best fried rice I've had in years and the shrimp were cooked perfectly, so tender. All the dishes we ordered were well seasoned, the vegetables all had a slight crunch, nothing was overcooked, soggy, or greasy. The food arrived promptly and they had place settings in the bag for us which was so nice because we're in a hotel, the staff over the phone and the person who delivered were so kind and had a big smile and brightened my day after an 11 hour car trip with 4 kids 😂. 10/10 definitely recommend”
