On my visit to Melbourne the daily walk past this place, was a greeting or a chat. Old fashioned service, quality food and genuine staff. Those chips qere darn good, just how I like them. “Enjoyed a special occasion dinner here. The tasting plate had good variety and quality for the meats. The steak tartare had pork crackling skin on the side as tasty as Filipino chicharon. If you're lucky to get the divine 1kg T-bone steak in your daily specials, have it cooked medium-rare. Great food, friendly staff, overall would recommend for a fancy lunch or dinner.”

“Really solid service and food but the highlight was the drink selection. The Summer Dream cocktail with yuzu and passionfruit, and the Japanese gin & tonic were really smooth and sweet with no weird aftertaste. First time trying bao buns, I had the pork belly and it was beautiful. Karaage chicken wasn’t the absolute best I’ve had but it was still great and their sauce with it was incredible- so sweet but not overpowering. It would be better if they did normal fries- the sweet potato fries were a bit plain and needed more seasoning. Overall, what they do well, they do REALLY well. I’ll be back to try the spring rolls and more drinks!”

While there were some positive aspects, there were a few notable drawbacks as well. On the downside, the food was disappointingly dry. Despite the restaurant's reputation for authentic Turkish cuisine, the dishes lacked the expected moisture and succulence. This left me wishing for a more flavorful and tender dining experience. Additionally, the waiting time was quite extensive. It was evident that the place was bustling and full to capacity, which, while a testament to its popularity, led to a prolonged wait for our meal. Even with a multitude of waitstaff present, it seemed as though the demand outweighed the available resources. On a positive note, the ambiance and decor were inviting, creating a cozy and pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant's commitment to creating an authentic Turkish setting was evident, and it added to the overall dining experience.”
