“It’s a hippy place with even a campfire on the exterior when we arrived! Super warm and cozy, ideal for chatting with friends or reading a book. We just stopped over for some beers and humus that they were great! Staff spoke great English and were polite and friendly.”

“If its cars your into, this place is a must to go and visit, they rotate rare cars inside the establishment frequently. If your looking for spectacular coffee, we'll the name says it all. As well as awesome cars and amazing coffee, they also have a great menu of really tasty savouries and sweets. Parking is a bit tricky as they are very popular and have limited parking spaces, but the parking hassle is well worth the effort.”

“The staff was kind and friendly. Plummy Cheesecake (Zwetschen Cheesecake) is light and so delicious. I ate all quickly and can not stop myself. On the other hand, I kindly request to check plum beans carefully. Butter croissant is also preferable. The Cafe is a really cool choice for cakes. The seating is comfortable and cafe has a garden. You can sit with the fresh air. The cafe takes place in an extremely silent Street. If you decide to go there, you can face an internet problem because you will be close to Swiss borders and the Internet can be unconnected. Because of the Internet problem, I could not sit there so long. I wish they had Wi-Fi.”

“I came by for a coffee while walking around the area on a Saturday in October. It had been raining off and on but there was a table outside that was dry so I sat down. However, the hostess who seated me did not tell me that I needed to order inside so I sat there waiting for several minutes. Not a huge deal but when I went inside to order of course it started raining. So I had to rush outside to get my already wet backpack then come back in and get my coffee and then stand at a table because there were no seats available. Some spaces were not taken but had reserved signs. But once everything was settled, i enjoyed a very delicious cafe latte while taking in the atmosphere of the restaurant. Definitely worth your time to stop by for a coffee, beer, or bite to eat.”

I like the design and layout a lot. I had a really nice dragonfruit hot oat milk with a ginger and nut brownie, but there was a wide selection otherwise.”

I sat outside and enjoyed the mountain views Not all the outdoor seats had cushions and arrive could be a little slow - unsure if it is table service or counter service. Food was very good and reasonably priced (for Switzerland!)”

“We recently enjoyed a 3-course Advent menu at 'Drahtseilbähnli'. The food was delicious from A to Z, the staff was very attentive and friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. We also particularly appreciated that there was only limited space in the 'Drahtseilbähnli'. This meant that the noise level was more than kept to a minimum and people could converse at a comfortable volume, even though the restaurant was completely booked. An all-round great evening in the 'Drahtseilbähnli' - we would love to come back!”

“Very cute place by the banks of Lake Geneva in vevey. They have an amazing view form the cafe. They have a cute little library attached to it. The staff are warm and helpful. We stopped by to have some nice coffee. Quite close to the Charlie Chaplin statue in Vevey. It was a nice and sunny day when we arrived at vevey and bumped into this place. They have an outdoor seating with heaters so it was extremely pleasant and cozy even sitting outside. I think this has one of the best views in vevey by the lake overlooking the mountains on the other side of the lake.”
