Any pancake that needs cherries, cinnamon sugar, ice cream and whipped cream to taste good is like a cheap streak that needs to be smothered in steak sauce to bring it around. Focus more on the pancakes.”

“The weather was overcast, not raining but only indoor sitting was available. A pity. The staff introduced me to white sausage, pretzel and mustard. It was good! So when you are there, you have to order by writing on the paper chit on the table. Only german. Not much trouble if you have Google translate available. Also only cash allowed. Would love to visit again and have the chance to sit outdoor in the garden.”

“I only recently discovered this place and I am very happy I did. We ordered breakfast to share which was really nice (make sure to include the marmalade and the chocolate spread to your breakfast, they are delicious!) - although noting that a small yoghurt would have been perfect as an addition to the platter. The coffee was also really good but I was a bit disappointed we had to pay extra for a teaspoon of honey in the tea. Although we were there a few minutes after they opened, we were lucky to get the last available table and I would recommend making a reservation upfront as this cafe is really popular.”

I decided not to order any food and just got a drink. The salad looked appetizing but took them over 20 minutes to prepare. We were in a rush so it was a little stressful for us. They did have a printed English menu which was helpful. And the servers were very nice to us.”
