“Online, it seems like a good dinner. In person is a different experience. First 2 minutes after sitting down, I get asked by a tall bold waiter with a beard to move. That this small table I am sitting at is to accommodate other people. I relocated to this other table. 5 minutes sitting down, I get splash by water. The food was mediocre at best. Pancakes were more like a messy mass than the fluffy ones everyone keeps saying they are getting. My opinion save your money for that other dinner down the road that has better service and far better food.”

“I thought my wife had lost her mind when she rolled up with a coffee version of an Arnold Palmer - half lemonade, half coffee. Yuck. Then I tasted it, and I was like 👀 let’s go get you one because I’m not giving this back. The flavor combination sounds weird, but it’s a delightful way to enjoy a midday cup of coffee in the sun and humidity. The vibes inside were just as nice. Clean spot, quick and super kind barista, and the bathroom is like a mini hidden museum. I spent longer just soaking up the walls than I did going to the bathroom. This place was cool. We’ll be back next time we’re at Surrey’s up the street.”

Overall, if you are NOLA, you need to stop by for some great coffee!”

“I got the pesto pasta salad with a fried chicken cutlet. It was delicious, and the portion was overly generous. I think 3/4 of the size of the salad would be plenty. For $16, that is really expensive for a salad. I understand it's probably extra because of the pasta and chicken, but I think if the portion was a little smaller, the price could be lowered a couple of dollars. The marble truffle cake was delicious as well, but it was $6.50 for a square. If the prices had been posted, I wouldn't have gotten it. Maybe that's why they don't post the prices on the pastry counter lol. Overall a good experience, quick service, and very fresh, delicious food. Deducting 1 star because we paid $60 for 2 adults, 1 child, and 3 pastries. And we got tap water to drink!”

“I have been here before and service and food was top tier however this time wasn’t so pleasant. Blake Broussard was not the best server. When we first arrive we had to wait for menus, appetizer was then served with no saucers then I asked and was served plastic plates. Food was then served and was not followed up until I stopped him to ask for the ticket to pay. I order fish that need to be cooked a little more and my mom order breakfast sandwich that she enjoyed”

“Ordered the bacon egg and sausage wrap. 95% egg and cheese. One piece of bacon at the bottom. Never ordering food from here again. My husband got coffee spilled on him at the drive thru window and the barista said she couldn’t throw his napkins away after he cleaned himself. She said there was a dumpster in the front of the store that we could throw it away in. We drove forward but we forgot one of our drinks inside. My husband went inside to grab his drink and another customer handed it to him…what kind of service is that? So the barista can refuse to throw trash away but will allow another customer to touch our drinks? We even gave a tip. Do better, Starbucks.”
