“Good food and service. The staff were very welcoming and provided great service. Because of coronavirus restrictions only outside dining was permitted and it was very comfortable despite the weather being not so great. (4/5) The food was delicious and very well presented, I had a salad that was served with 3 generous pieces of white fish. It was delicious! After finishing our food I ordered a Greek coffee. This was also well made and served at the reite temperature (4/5) Unfortunately there was one issue that made me feel very uncomfortable! The staff were allowing people to enter the building to use use the toilets without wearing a face mask 😷. Because we were seated next to the door this made me feel very uncomfortable. The current restrictions in the Netherlands make it mandatory to wear a facemask when entering a restaurant to use the toilets. Despite there being a large board in the doorway stating a mask must be worn the staff did not enforce this at all. This really let down the whole experience for me and I hope if they read this review they will prehaps change the way they handle this issue. This review would have been 4 stars without this.”

“10/10 recommend! They made our breakfast with such care and passion. The ladies were super friendly, the cafe lounge is amazing and it is super clean. The food and drinks were 100% worth its price. It’s is not the cheapest or most expensive place but deffo worth the money. They packed our food and drinks that we couldn’t finish for takeout with a big smile. Big ups to this cafe and it’s amazing staff!”

“My girlfriend and I were looking for a place to have lunch, and we chose Anne & Max pretty much on a whim. Turns out we made a really good choice, because the quality of both service and food we got was excellent. The presentation of our lunch menu looked great, and everything there tasted as good as it looked, too. I even enjoyed the salad thoroughly, and that's coming from someone who eats a lot of meat. The drinks were also tasty and invigorating, which hit the spot just right. All in all, we had a really good time here and will be coming back for more later, for sure!”

A small recommendation: it'd better to put another type of small desserts instead of the cookies with bitter almond flavour.
