Pause Cafe
4.6
( 8 reviews )
Open until 08:00 PM

3 Clinton St, New York, NY 10002, United States

“Visited this cafe and had a mixed experience. The coffee was excellent - strong and flavorful, but the shakshuka was disappointing even though it looks good ;( The overall vibe is wonderful, and despite the usual line, it moves quickly. The place is warm and inviting, although the tables are a bit too close together. I'd recommend it for a coffee, but perhaps not for breakfast.”

Zibetto Espresso Bar
4.6
( 8 reviews ) $$
Open until 07:00 PM

1385 6th Ave, New York, NY 10019, United States

“This dark, poorly decorated, small place serves one of the best espresso drinks I’ve ever tasted. Dark roasted, full bodied packed with hazelnut and brown sugar flavors. Their cappuccinos and cortados are unreal, prepared so skillfully that you just have to order a second one after your first sip. Definitely a Top 3 among the coffees that I’ve tasted in the US.”

The Monkey Cup
4.8
( 8 reviews )
Open until 03:30 PM

1965 Adam Clayton Powell Jr Blvd, New York, NY 10026, United States

“ok... I can't comment on the food yet, but as Arnold would say... "I'll be back." Real chill vibe, nice owner, seemingly happy staff (I don't know for sure, but dude seems genuinely happy to work here). It's a great coffee experience, and more of the eventual change that's been coming to Harlem. Complaining about gentrification is like complaints about the sunrise. You can embrace, enjoy the light, and find ways to grow, or you can long for the restful night to continue. Things they are a changing.”

Charlotte Cafe
4.7
( 16 reviews ) $$
Open until 07:30 PM

2541 Broadway, New York, NY 10025, United States

“I love this cafe!! I am so happy to have discovered it. It has a very peaceful and humble atmosphere, while still being nice and pleasant. There is a lot of seating and the coffee tastes amazing! They have an abundance of pastries. There is even a bathroom. If you are looking for a coffee shop with space (a rare find on the UWS) come here!”

Bird & Branch
4.7
( 8 reviews )
Open until 07:30 PM

359 W 45th St, New York, NY 10036, United States

“Sharing one review but I’ve been to Bird & Branch multiple time so these are some of the photos from my various visits here. This is one of my favorite coffee places in NYC - it has a Japanese-fusion inspired menu and the drinks are named after birds. I love the creativity this place has put into their menu. They also rotate the drinks seasonally so the menu stays fresh. Although I don’t have a picture of it I highly recommend the iced passionfruit black tea during the summer -it’s a refreshing drink and not too sweet. The snowy owl and the mockingbird are definitely worth a try during the colder months. Their food menu is also really on point. I love the miso hummus toast -it’s like a vegan caprese toast and it’s delicious. The egg sandwich and the matcha square are also personal favorites of mine. Highly recommend this place!”

Remi Flower & Coffee
4.6
( 8 reviews )
Open until 06:00 PM

906 2nd Ave, New York, NY 10017, United States

“Remi Flower and Coffee is an absolute gem! This place is a sanctuary for the senses. From the moment you step in, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the sight of vibrant blooms greet you. There are plenty tables inside and outside. Their lattes are pure artistry, not only bursting with flavor. They do particular flavors like Rose or Lavender (see picture). And the October touch? They served our lattes in pumpkin cups we brought! A delightful experience that marries taste, ambiance, and personal touch flawlessly.”

Blue Bottle Coffee
4.4
( 8 reviews ) $$
Open until 07:00 PM

54 W 40th St, New York, NY 10018, United States

“Exponentially one of the better coffee place near Bryant park. Skip all the others which are near to the park, not worth the wait and price. I’ll recommend to get their drip coffee variations. Baristas are friendly but do tend get engrossed in their own world when making coffee. Only negative is their tiny lobby with limited seating space. Hurts in winter but other times you can just grab one on the go and enjoy it at the park.”

Gotan

4.5
( 8 reviews ) $$
Open until 05:00 PM

130 Franklin St, New York, NY 10013, United States

“Visited Gotan for lunch with a a colleague. The brick interiors add a lot of character to the place and it was a pretty spacious restaurant. We went during lunch so it was a bit crowded. The front desk staff helped me with recommendations, she was pleasant and accommodating. I ordered: 1. Cafe Mocha - 5/5 - it was so warm and comforting, absolutely delicious. 2. Beets, arugula and pesto sandwich (special for the day) - 5/5. Was warm and hearty, bread was perfectly toasted. Absolutely delicious! I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for an option in the area.”

Ground Central Coffee Company
4.4
( 8 reviews ) $$

155 East 52nd Street, 3rd Ave, New York, NY 10022, United States

“Cool coffee shop with plenty of seating. The coffee was good, but the staff was not very friendly. Not mean. Just not friendly. They sell some food and teas. I came here in my search to find a good coffee shop to work in … not for me. It would be great for others but not for me. Why? Music is very loud and the wifi sucks. There is a small room in the back with couches that is quieter but it was hot and your the loud guy if you need to make a call. Now, making calls was not the issue, it was the bad wifi. If you need a coffee shop without wifi that is loud, this place is great. It is quaint and comfy with the couches and the old school look. Space - large with lots of seating Staff - not so friendly Prices - moderate to high Work - they welcome people to work on laptops.”

Bluestone Lane Collective Cafe
4.4
( 8 reviews ) $$

55 Greenwich Ave, New York, NY 10014, United States

“It's the perfect spot for a coffee break or a leisurely brunch. The baristas here truly understand the art of coffee-making, and the quality of their brews is consistently top-notch. I always leave with a smile on my face 😊. The menu offers a delightful range of food and beverage options, and the Cappuccino & avocado toastare my personal favorite. The ambiance is cozy, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. It's no wonder this cafe has earned its 5-star reputation. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a little taste of heaven in the West Village!!”

Kam Hing Coffee Shop
4.6
( 8 reviews )
Open until 07:30 PM

118 Baxter St, New York, NY 10013, United States

“Came here after seeing the signs of best sponge cake in town and decided to give a try. Walking in you have to go straight past the door and will see the shop (with another door). The sponge cakes are $1.00 for the original and $1.25 for flavoured sponge cakes (such as pandan, ube, coconut and more). The sponge cakes are freshly made and a good snack size. They also serve coffee, lemon tea and other drinks at a reasonable price. Highly recommend giving this place a quick try if you’re in the Chinatown area.”

St Kilda Coffee

“Excellent business. The best coffee in NY at a great price. I had a washed Colubia prepared on a filter and it was really delicious.”

Irving Farm New York
4.3
( 8 reviews ) $$
Open until 05:00 PM

224 W 79th St, New York, NY 10024, United States

“A great little coffee shop on the Upper West Side. Their Cinnamon Cardamom Bun is awesome, though messy, and goes well with their hot peppermint tea. Their croissants looked incredible, too. Lots of people were sitting in here to work on their laptops. I had a business meeting here for over an hour, and it was a great place to chat.”

Cafe Patoro
4.6
( 10 reviews )

“Such a cute bakery! Excellent Brazilian cheese bread and caramelized banana bread. The dulce de leche latte was also delicious. Highly recommend!”

C&b

178 E 7th St, New York, NY 10009, United States

“One of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. The shop sells an edited menu of breakfast sandwiches along w salads, loafs, pastries and coffee. We had the pork belly & egg on a roll, as well as the mushroom/egg on toast. So good, can’t believe I’d never noticed this spot. It’s take out w some outdoor seating. There is a big line but goes quickly and they bring out sandwiches when ready.”

Boba Guys Lower East Side
4.6
( 10 reviews )

23 Clinton St, New York, NY 10002, United States

“I really enjoyed my bubble tea from Boba Guys! I've had them saved on my list for a while. I tried the lychee green tea and my friend tried the strawberry matcha tea. They both were really good! I prefer clear teas so the lychee was perfect …”

Ruby's Cafe - East Village
4.5
( 8 reviews ) $$
Open until 11:00 PM

198 E 11th St, New York, NY 10003, United States

“%100 Enjoyable Brunch Ruby’s is the best brunch spot you can ever have in NYC. I usually prefer to go Soho or Chelsea locations. First time visiting East Village, well the server and the host was not welcoming. But great food, affordable price. And awesome vibe. Definitely the best spot you can choose for brunch. I love their “Avo toast” It’s the one of the choose for every single time. I don’t know how to do describe the taste of the coffee they serve. But it’s just not the one. It’s kinda very soury and super strong in mean time. My boyfriend had the “ big breakfast” without the sausage which they can not sub to salmon or veg option. But still the portion was good enough.”

Cafe Select
4.2
( 8 reviews ) $$

212 Lafayette St, New York, NY 10012, United States

“GO HERE !!! I’ve recently become obsessed with cheese and this place has become my go to spot for fondue and raclette ! The ambiance is very welcoming and charming; reminds me of being in the mountains. Great cocktails as well, def get the espresso martini and dirty (it comes with cute Swiss flag). Service was also very good. Overall this place is super chill and laid back.”

Ole & Steen
4.4
( 8 reviews ) $$
Open until 07:00 PM

873 Broadway, New York, NY 10003, United States

“Nothing wrong with this place! Espresso drinks were solid and the pastries were fine as well. A little sweet and the pastry was not super flaky or texturally interesting, but enjoyable anyway. There are better pastry and coffee places in NYC, but this one is just fine! Odd praise, but I love the plates and the modern interior. Seems like this would be a nice place to do some work!”

Dawn's Til Dusk

“Delicious food! It’s a super fair price for NYC. Food it’s delicious and it’s a fair amount and great quality! They had the most beautiful dried flowers arrangement! Loved the vibe too!”
