“Had a delicious, moist almond croissant with matcha almond milk latté. Pleasant staff, cozy atmosphere, bright windows on beautiful Notre Dame street. Great place to pause for a treat less than a few minutes walk from Lionel Groulx metro. There is a Rona Quincaillerie just 3 minutes walk west from this café, so it’s a nice place to pause after running errands for hardware, tools and paint shopping.”

“One of the best sandwiches I ever had in Montreal. Absolute recommendation when you're in the neighborhood. They freshly baked their sandwich bread and I mean put dough in the oven just for you when you order. It's crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside, and the sumac and spicy mayo on the fried chicken gives it a zingy middle-eastern flavor. Their coffee was also lovely, nothing special but perfect for what I was looking for. And the ambience is interesting. Not 100% my style but I can see it's charm. Also very, very friendly staff. (Edit: I learned they're currently renovating, so that explains the curtains.)”

“Good coffee, lots of space and vegan options, which are much appreciated. However, I must say, the bathroom situation is pretty poor: 2 doors don’t lock properly (I was told by the staff to hold the door with my foot…) and the other door has a sign saying “please do not use this bathroom”. Also, the cleanliness of the bathrooms isn’t great (yes, I’ve seen much worse, but add that to the above facts; makes it pretty bad). The employee mentioned to me that they are aware of these issues, but haven’t got around to fixing them. Not sure why, they might have a decent reason, but in the restauration industry, this should be a priority. I would be glad to come back, but please fix your bathrooms asap.”

“Popped in this morning before heading to the airport and was thrilled with this cafe. I loved the vibe - quaint and cozy. I was looking for some coffee to take home with me and was helped by a friendly staff member. He talked me through the options and I selected two types to bring home and I’m anxious to try them. I ordered a cappuccino which was as beautiful as it was tasty. Many people were enjoying the environment; some obviously working, others reading, some catching up with friends and then little ol’ me the single traveler. If you’re in the area, highly recommend you stop in and enjoy.”

“After purchasing my water, I requested the password to use the bathroom. but they didn't allow me. I said I was having problems with urgency and that I really needed to go to the bathroom. They didn't let me, claiming they had already cleaned the bathroom and had cleaning products. and I don't understand why, since it was 9:25 pm and the store closes at 10 pm. How do you start cleaning the bathroom before closing the establishment? 30 minutes before? absurd! I had urinary problems after that! Date: December 01, 2023.”

“I ordered a large dalgona bubble tea, asking for less boba (because they usually give a lot) and having the dalgona on the side. The lady came back with a regular size bubble tea, stating it was because I asked for less bubbles, I asked them to switch it back into a large cup. They ended up giving me only half of the cup, it just doesn’t make sense to me how having less pearls can decrease the size that much? It was also a $9 bubble tea, I just think it wasn’t worth it.”
