“Second time coming here. First time, it was on a week night so we had the whole place to ourselves. We went again last night on a Sat night and it was busy. A lot of teenagers with nowhere else to go. The employees were very pleasant. The cashier apologized and offered alternatives when we found out the pumpkin spice milk tea was sold out. I got the ultimate ace milk tea and I recommend it. It has brown sugar, boba, and jelly in it. It’s very delicious. There are plenty of places (when it’s not so crowded) to have photo ops in this place. The faux trees change color depending on the season/month.”

“Cafe Mustache was has great karaoke! It was little busy for karaoke on a Saturday night—it was pretty packed and there was a long queue of songs—but it was an enjoyable experience. I recommend getting there early so you can be higher up in the queue. The space is cozy and good for conversation in the usual cafe section, but it is mostly standing room (not too many spots to sit) on the bar and karaoke side. The ambiance on the karaoke side is quite nice; I liked the lighting and the vintage televisions.”

The food came out in less than 5 minutes! The service was fantastic. The coffee was huge! And so yummy. My partner almost licked his plate clean of the chilaquiles. The steak on it was so flavorful. My omelet could have used a bit more seasoning. But considering the crowds I was okay with it.”

I will return.. the coffee was pretty sweet so next time I will try something else but even though it was sweet the flavor was good. I just wish the old lady would stay in the back and do the paperwork and not the orders… but can’t let one grumpy old lady mess up your day.. just smile and move on.”

“Ten Cafe is located off of Western Avenue and Roscoe (Roscoe Village) in the strip plaza; watch out for google maps giving iffy directions to this destination. Ten Cafe is super cute and aesthetically put together with their friendly staff who know their stuff. Customers that I experienced in my short visit are a mixed bag, however; laid back and casual but there were also some suburban Karen vibes present but that’s neither here nor there. 🫠 Our order for a party of three consisted of seaweed salad, Taiwanese popcorn chicken, chocolate rolled ice cream with boba topping and two types of boba; taro milk cloud w coconut milk and passion fruit popping boba and Brown Sugar Boba Tea with Tapioca boba. I would love to see a kids menu option here (it would help immensely by helping to avoid decision fatigue ) as well as caffeine free boba drink options for those who don’t love tea but enjoy boba.”
