“We had the heralded Breakfast Sandwich, coffees and a piece of cake this morning, and we were NIT disappointed. My wife thought the sandwich was amazing and I thought the cake was amazing, so wee were both quite happy. I will agree that tables are at times hard to get here, and it can be loud in this New Albany store, but it’s a coffee house, where you are supposed to feel comfortable conversing, enjoying your friends and family, so I say go and go often!!”

“I have heard nothing but great things about this restaurant. And I wanted to check it out for myself. When I walked in you could definitely feel the cozy warm feeling in the atmosphere! I ordered the White Chocolate Mocha which was phenomenal. And then I ordered the Breakfast Burrito Chorizo, Hash Browns, Provolone, Scrambled Eggs, Roasted Onions and Peppers served with Tomatillo Sauce. Which was very flavorful especially the onions and chorizo. The servers and those preparing the food were really nice. I definitely will return !!”

If you like, they have a private room, comfy couch corners and outside seating and a fireplace. If you want to take in a game up close, their bar provides seating, food, service and drinks. Large parties for 14 can sit around a large stone table. One page menu options but large portions on your choices. Friendly, large and open area. Located on Riverside Drive, opposite end of Pins. Entrances are also on the back of the building too. Unusual drink offers, try one. Large parties are on one check. They offer lunch and dinner.”

“Set up in the Open Air building on Neil Avenue in Old North Columbus, Emmett's Cafe perfectly refreshes the historic charm of the building. Full of plants, light, modern furniture, and great coffee and food, this is an all-time favorite breakfast spot of mine, and I often find myself waking up and craving a One Handed Breakfast Sandwich and a cup of coffee from Emmett's. Especially on a weekday morning when it's quiet, you can't beat the jazz or downtempo music and early morning sun reflecting off of the surface of your coffee - it's a perfect start to the day. It's also nice to sit outside when the weather is nice. My favorites other than the breakfast sandwich are the Loaded Toast, the Banana Bread, and the Overnight Oats. The quality and freshness of the ingredients is excellent. Most of the time you can find parking, on the weekends it's a little harder but you can usually snag a spot in the parking lot. It's a great spot to bring friends and folks from out of town. The service is really friendly and they want to make sure you're taken care of. Next to Understory and Butcher Shop Fitness, it's clear that cool things are happening in the area. I only wish it was around when I was living a block away as an OSU student!”
