Tucked away at 1605 W Commonwealth Ave, this quaint diner has become one of my go-to spots for a fulfilling start to the day. My latest visit to Kimmie's was on a random Wednesday, the experience was as great. I sat at the bar, even though there was plenty of seating available. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, as the diner's small lot fills up fast, and you may find yourself parking on nearby residential streets. However, the short walk is a small price to pay for the quality of food and service that awaits. Kimmie's menu offers a variety of breakfast and brunch items, and on this visit, I indulged in the Mexican Scramble and a cup of coffee. It was great! I've noticed that prices have crept up recently, with my meal coming to about $30, which is a bit steep for breakfast. However, considering the quality and portion sizes, it still feels worth it. The service at Kimmie's is always top-notch. The staff are friendly and efficient, ensuring a pleasant dining experience even during busy hours.”

“This was an amazing coffee shop and wished it was closer because I would actually go every week! Just the baked good section alone was just amazing and they had these huge cookies on display. It was honestly hard to find something I wanted because I wanted half of what they had. The drinks too were very good, I finished my drink and it was a large and usually a large is way too much for me and usually takes me the whole day to finish it. I got the coconut cream and you can adjust it to your liking. I can't tolerate coffee that's strong so I had one less espresso shot and it was so yummy. I got the CCO artisan sandwich and it comes with a bag of chips. Even their selection of chips was so good. This was the best sandwich I've ever had and the other ones looked yummy too. I was able to take my dog with me because there's a few outdoor seating up in front. This was such a cute shop and I can't wait to go back when I'm in the area.”

I suspect that many of their drinks are made with syrups or powders but the finished products are really good. The Green Panda is one of my go-tos. The service is amazing with free samples because their drinks are so unique. It's like a night club in the evenings because of the loud music and backlit decor. They have video games at the bar and 2 large booths.”
