“Super cute basement Café near the Wien Rathaus. Spacious place with lots of seating areas. Great menu of coffee, beverages & food menu. Decent amount of vegan options. The staff is super kind & will accommodate requests with food. Loved my Caspar Cold Coffee & house fries with a garlic dip. They also have an in-house store for book & host events for their community. Great place to work from & stays open till 11pm. Highly recommended!”

The views are spectacular over the city, and the food and drink (we had an apple strudel, a coffee and a tea) is tasty, reasonably priced, and fresh. Not ‘haute couture’ but if you’re looking for somewhere away from the crowds with an unbeatable view and tasty treats, head here! Heads up that the staff don’t speak English (which meant we couldn’t decipher what savoury food was on offer that day) but others seemed to enjoy their main meals just as much as we enjoyed our dessert! And there’s the added bonus that you get to pass through a beautiful hall on your way up to the cafe for some fab photos too!”

We got some traditional pastries that were recommended by them and they tasted really good. The coffee could be improved but was by no means bad. If you buy the big chocolate and nuts strudel, cut it in half, even if you are hungry. Trust us, it took us about a day to finish the whole thing😂”
