Camping Las Palmeras Costa Brava
4.5
( 8 reviews )

Carr. de la platja, 17470, Girona, Spain

“Really nice campsite, beautiful location, spotless clean showers and toilets. Green and beautiful pitches. All well maintained, styled and serviced to detail. With a heated outdoor pool, a gym, car wash and bikes to rent for the entire family. Even the supermarket is great with lots of fresh bread & croissants daily. All quite but still very family friendly. But of course there are also downsides. The restaurant is better to be avoided, the food is good though on the higher side (~120€ for 2 starter, 2 main, 2 kids meals, drinks, coffee and dessert) but the service is horrible. After probably forgetting our 2nd dish and us asking they brought it after half an hour, and then instead of cleaning the table after we finished, it took them probably 30min to ask for desserts which got forgotten again oO... So we had to go and order at the bar... Well well, could have been better.”

“Perfect site. Well laid out, toilet and shower blocks are super clean. Great laundry room. Helpful reception staff, well stocked shop with lots of fresh produce. We absolutely loved our stay here, one of the highlights of our 8 week trip. Pitches are just big enough, not loads of space, but everyone was super friendly and helpful. The beach is right outside the campsite, clean white sand, perfect for families, but you would need to take your own shade and seats. The campsite restaurant is great, food and service excellent. Nearby there are some wonderful restaurants (Ma Gusta was our favourite, a bit pricey but so worth it), and you can fill up on the cheap local wine there; we tried white, red and rose and enjoyed them all. Will definitely return here.”

Camping Oasis Mar

Carretera València-Barcelona N-340, Km.1139, 43892 Mont-roig del Camp, Tarragona, Spain

“Nearby the beach and sea. Very nice if you don't want your pets with you. Due to the fact that there is a colony of cats inside the camping, dogs are a little bit restricted in their freedom... Since we're here with our own cat and dog, it feels less a problem. The beach is really at the border of the camping and when you go to the left, dogs are accepted to walk free and swim...”

Camping Castell D'aro

Closed until 02:00 PM

Carretera de s'Agaró, km 1, 17249, Girona, Spain

“I was using my own tent. Staff very helpful and friendly (in reception, shop, bar). Toilets and showers clean and well maintained. 40 minutes walk to St Pol beach. Nice swimming pool. Not a lot of mosquitos, it was possible to sleep outside the tent (hot nights) with no problem. The only thing I was missing were washing machines, it would be better if you can insert coin and do your washing instead of hand washing. One or two nights were noisy till 4 am but it's nothing exceptional on campings. There is big chance that I'll come back here in the future.”

Camping El Riu Sl.

Barcelona ES, Carr. de la platja, s/n, 17470 Sant Pere Pescador, Spain

“Excelent! We had an amazing time. Mary Rose on reception is the best. Swimming pool amazing, its got a big pool, jacuzzi and a great baby pool. But the best is the slide! The camping is a perfect size for family with young kids and the entertainment is fun for the kids. We were in the Safari Plus which was amazing! And next to the river. All in all it was a great experience Recommend 10/10”

Camping Santa Eulàlia

“You are at the beach in 5min. The place also has it's own pool. There is animation and program throughout the week. The sanitaries are simple and clean. You need to bring your own toilet paper. The staff was very friendly and helpful. To the trainstation it's a 10min walk. Totally recommend this place.”

Ctra de Pardines, Km 0.5, 17534 Ribes de Freser, Girona, Spain

“The Road to the Campingplot is partly gravel, but you can still drive on it. The receptionist was very very friendly and had helpful tips for me. The Toilets are good, ok clean and showers as well. I saw much worse toilets on other camping sites. The Plot for my tent was fine, like 5x5m I would estimate. The view was spectacular and I had like 5 minutes to drive or walk to the city. The walk wasn’t easy, you should be an good hiker. Only downside, there was nothing to buy at the campsite. A little vending machine would have been a blessing with a few drinks and snacks. They have a washing Maschine and dryer. I hope I can come back soon!”

Lots of activities to do for the family, special shout out to the Salsa nights with Sandy. The accommodation was comfortable and the air con was good. Will definetely go back to Calella!”

Camping Internacional Palamos
3.9
( 8 reviews )

Camí de Cap de Planes, 11, 17230 Palamós, Girona, Spain

“We were going to stay here for 3 nights but Palamós was so quiet that we stayed for 2 instead. The woman on reception spoke English which was helpful. The campsite was really nice with level pitches under lots of trees. Sandy ground which is a pain, but that's what is there. We chose one with the electric box on the pitch because we only brought our shorter lead. We also got a wash basin and tap on our pitch. The website said 23 euros but we ended up paying 28.50euros because electric was extra. The toilet block was good and kept very clean. Just a bit of a strange layout. There is a lovely big swimming pool complete with life guard, open until 6pm. Looks like anyone walking past who knows it's there can walk in and have a free swim. La Fosca beach is a few minutes walk away and very pleasant with sandy beaches and some restaurants. Great place if you want a beach holiday.”

Kim's Camping Caravaning & Bungalow Park

Av. del Mar, Km 2, 17211 Llafranc, Girona, Spain

“Intended to stay a week or so but decided to move as a dog just yapped and yapped and I am sure would have been heard any where on the site so no point in moving pitch. No point in complaining, it's Spain.”

Càmping Stel

Carr. Llívia, s/n, 17520 Puigcerdà, Girona, Spain

“Very nice place to stay with the family. The bungalows are quite cosy and warm. Perfect service in the register office, very fast check in and out. The place is near several ski stations and close to the town. The only thing is that you must be with a car, once public transport is very rare.”

Wecamp Cala Montgó
4.4
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 03:00 PM

Avinguda de Montgó, 246, 17130 L'Escala, Girona, Spain

“It's a really relaxing place and the area is full of green. Great location with pool in the camp and shops accessible by foot. We booked a bangalow, however the only disadvantage was the fact that they change the sheets and the towels every 6 days, which is not ideal! The price of the bungalow was quite expensive but probably this has to do also with the period that we visited- it was high season at the end of July.”

Càmping Del Parc Gualba
4.3
( 8 reviews )

Parc Mediambiental Gualba Can Illa Vell, s/n, 08474, Barcelona, Spain

“Can’t recommend this place enough...the tent is a my kinda tent...it has separate bedrooms! And a bathroom! The place is magical - amazing walks, waterfalls, kids play areas. Our kids, 9 & 8, has a fantastic time also. And the food is great, with Merce being the best hostess imaginable. We live in Cataluña and have been to MANY campings and hotels, this has been the best get away, within 3 hour radius from home (Barcelona) in a long time. Just come! You won’t find it on TripAdvisor...when it’s there expect it to be hard to book!”
