Hu I Pini Village

Closed until 03:00 PM

Via delle Sassete, 28, 00065 Fiano Romano RM, Italy

“Just returned from a week long vacation at Hu I Pini Village. We were a couple, three children (12,10,6) and a small dog. The overall impression is great, the village gives you the feeling of a calm vacation, zero worries and a great atmosphere. Rooms - The accommodations were great but not excellent. The kitchen could have more accessories (oven, coffee machine) but it met with our needs. The blankets were a bit outdated and not really gave the best impressions so I recommend brining your own. AC was great. Kids - Had a blast. The animators teams were amazing. so lovely, fun and with high energies. My kids loved them and even now keeps reciting all the dances they thought them. My eldest (12 year old) were quite bored sometimes, everything is heavily aimed for 10 and under. Safety - No complaints. Felt safe. You do need to note that there are cars traveling within the facility (although at a very low speed) so please let your kids be aware of that. The place was mostly accommodated by Dutch people which of course are very nice and pleasant.”

“This is a lovely tucked away little spot, just behind the dunes and we thought it would be a great relaxing place to stay gor a couple of nights. At 1am we had to move our tent into the local carpark as the thumping base of the music was …”

“Nice camping with well delimited pitches, power plug and water tap on every pitch, shade everywhere from either trees or fabric, market wit fresh bread and viennoiseries every morning, next to the beach, restaurant, laundry and year round facilities. 1 mile from Sperlonga, the cutest village in Italy. Will come back.”

“Good and quiet place. Many mosquitos and flies. The owner said 35€ all inclusive. It wasn't. We paid 5€ per token for washing and Wi-Fi costs per device.”

Azzurro Camping Village

Primo tronco, Via Settevene Palo, Località Rosario, 16, 00062 Bracciano RM, Italy

“We arrived after dark and reception was closed, but we'd notified them in advance and they'd given us the gate code so we could get in. Overnight, the camp was quiet with an occasional distant dog bark or the sound of an owl or two. It's a large site with a small, private beach and foot jetty on Lago Di Bracciano which makes it popular for canoeists, paddle boarding and anything else lake based. The pitches, static caravans and cabins are sited in what looks like an old olive grove with some larger mature trees that provide shade. There are no smaller shrubs so there is no natural privacy or anything to block the view of all of the vans, canins and tents around you. The amenities block is well used and somewhat basic. Hot showers require tokens and you need to bring your own hand soap and toilet paper. Toilets are mostly foot plate type with a couple of standard ones and there are plenty of hand basins (no hot water) in the lady's area - also the men's I am informed. There's a large dishwashing (hot water on timers on the wall) and clothes washing area (and even an ironing area with an ironing board) also washing lines if you haven't got your own. There are waste bins (sorted for recycling) just outside and at the rear of the amenities block. Black water disposal is also here. There is a restaurant and bar on site and also a large covered social area for when the weather isn't so good. The restaurant is open from early and serves coffee and breakfast. There is a play area for small children and a fenced five a side football pitch. There is no shop in reception, but they do have maps and postcards and the people are lovely and happy to provide information and help. The local town with its castle, shops and restaurants is not far (cycling) away. One thing to note, roads in the area are not in good repair and from leaving the Autostrada to the site the journey could be a little slower than you expect. Great location if you enjoy lakes and views, quiet, but the amenities are a little basic.”
