Carretera del Campamento, S/N, 09670 Quintanar de la Sierra, Burgos, Spain

“Fabulous site in the national park with big pool, good restaurant and bar, clean toilet facilities and good size pitch. Great value at under 20 Euro for motorhome, 2 adults and electricity.”

Camping Reino De Vadinia

C. Polideportivo, 42, 24800 Cistierna, León, Spain

“Great campsite. Pitches with some shade, lovely hot showers, covered barbecue area with picnic tables, five minutes walking to the town ( supermarkets, banks etc.) Decent bar with very economical prices. The pizzas were delicious and others in our group said the burgers were topnotch. Amazing staff, very friendly and informative for walks in the area. I highly recommend this spot in beautiful surroundings.”

Camping De Riaño
4.2
( 8 reviews )

Carretera León - Santander Km 93,8, 24900 Riaño, León, Spain

“Incredibly friendly manager and staff! The food was tasty and the view over The Valley is beautiful! In other camps, we were always denied due to full capacity (main season in august). However, we could actually see that the camp still had lots of space, certainly for a small tent, but the staff there wouldn’t really care and just be unhelpful. Here on the other hand, the manager said right away “let’s see what we can do” and found a spot for us. He was incredibly helpful, friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this camp and Riaño in general too, would have loved to stay longer! There’s a huge swing right behind the camp, from which you have a great view! Especially for sunsets and at night it’s beautiful!”

Calle Antonio Villanueva, S/N, 34840 Cervera de Pisuerga, Palencia, Spain

“The pitches for tourers are fine. Varying in size and price. The facilities are good although the showers need some form of heating. Mornings are chilly here. The biggest problem we had was a poor electricity supply. Even at 10 amps we lost supply. This is the only site this has ever occurred on in our experience over many years. A two pin connector is also required. The site overall suffers from static touring caravans. Some fine bungalows and glampings. A very good, albeit in my view expensive, restaurant, popular with locals and very noisy, particularly at weekends. Bread can be bought at the restuarant. . A limited number of basic provisions in the shop at reception . Being close to the town, shopping is not a problem . Also an excellent bar. Lovely setting by the river and surrounded by trees. Town of Cervera de Pisuerga a 20 minute stroll away along the river through an attractive park. Some fine buildings and other interesting sites worth visiting. Would happily return and can recommend for tourers. Good wi-fi. Here you are close to the mountains and rain is to be expected more here than further south. We enjoyed some sunny days and some spectacular thunderstorms. That did not lead us to regret the ten days we spent here. There is plenty to see and wonderful scenery. Very green ..as one might expect!”

Camping Aqueduct

Ctra. Granja, 112, 40004 Segovia, Spain

“Very enjoyable stay within 30 min walking distance of the beautiful city. Exceptionally clean showers and toilets, amongst best we've found. Reasonable size pitches. Lovely view of mountains but with dual carriageway in foreground. Peaceful though. Scantily stocked shop and bar don't seem much used by residents. We were very happy with our 2 night stay.”
