“What a fantastic camping! Places are big and have shadow (all of them!). Staff is realy friendly and always smiling. Toilets and showers are big and clean. Every toilet has disinfectant gel. There are enough toilets, showers, sinks, .... They have a dogshower, bathrooms for children or family's. The restaurant and bar are great! Try the icecream, it is delicious! You can order bread, baguettes, croissants, ... for the next day. They have wifi, but it's not the best.”

“This campsite is fantastic. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. The pools are large and there are plenty of sunbeds with shade. There is a covered heated pool. Pitches are very big with hedges separating them. Fridges can be hired for your stay. Shower facilities cleaned regularly and washing machines available for a small fee. All the staff spoke perfect English but side note this area of France does not attract many Brits.”

“Enjoyed 8 days at the campsite. Very well maintained grounds and super clean sanitary facilities. Swimming pool is very clean and sufficiently large to cool off. The view is beautiful and the immediate surroundings offer a lot of hiking. Because of the altitude it is not too hot to do anything during the day and nice to sleep at night. After 8 days we haven't seen the last of it so we'll be back.”

We had a great stay, the location is perfect and calm, you have all amenities you need inside (heated pool, mini-golf, spa, kids playgrounds, babyfoot, restaurant). The pools wouldn't be open on time, or the slides remain closed and yet the "not my problem" attitude of the staff at reception was really unhelpful. “What a beautifull place! If you want to go to the Annecy area but think it is to crowded around the lake, then go to Champ Tillet! We had read the reviews before booking saying it was a Nice place with Nice staff. It was 100 procent true! It is a family run campsite and they a so sweet, dog and children friendly. “Loved our week here, Chilled out vibe. We were on the standard pitches but still plenty of room. Lovely bakery you can order each day too. Doesn't have a shop which would really help. Restaurant is OK, but service isnt great, they forgot my partners food when we ate there. Hired bikes from the site to go to Annecy, great as the cycle loop can be accessed from the campsite directly. Only negative comment is that my kids have cuts to their fingers and toes from the pool. They were playing and doing handstands and stuff in the pool, but the surface must be quite abrasive as they both have the same type of grazes”

“Fri 15 July 22. I arrived late afternoon with no reservation and Thomas the owner couldn’t have been nicer. They were fully booked yet he went out his way to accommodate me! This campsite has superb facilities which have had a lot of investment made, they must have spent loads! Excellent pool and bar area. Good shower / toilet facilities. Separate brand new superb building which is their restaurant. Excellent food and choice of drinks. My dinner was great. Lots of happy efficient staff. “A lovely small camping with a lot of different accomodation types. You can rent cabins and tents, but also places to put your own camper/caravan/tent. There's an option to rent electricity and even additional private sanitair! A lot of people bring their kids and dogs. There's decent activities for children and every Wednesday evening there was dinner+live music (summer '23). The shared sanitair was clean and the shower was hot and had decent water flow. For showering and doing dishes, please don't go when it's busily so you have enough hot water. There's trash deposits near the parking lot. There's a lot of trees and the lower area ('under the poplars' and 'in the ramière') feels like you're camping in a cozy little forest. There's a couple short paths leading out from the trees towards a wide pebble beach bordering the Drôme. Beautiful, clear and clean water runs through it. The current can be quite strong in some places (people build dams) but it's not too deep, we could stand everywhere. It was surprisingly quiet, especially compared to the Ardèche. With a handful of other camping guests and some canoeing, it was very easy to find a private spot to enjoy this amazing creek. One day we did the short walk back and forth yo Saillans, which is a lovely little village although for groceries we went to Crest, which is a straightforward 15min drive. Other things we enjoyed were the challenging but mesmerizing Les 3 Becs hike, Via Ferrata (Drôme Adventure) and a day trip to Montelimar.”
